Let the number be ‘10a+b’.
If it is reversed then the number becomes ‘10b+a’.
ATQ,
10b + a − 10a – b = 5 × 7.2
⇒ 9b – 9a = 36
⇒ b – a = 4
Numbers can be 15, 26, 37, 48 and 59 but all the five digits are multiple of 5.
Therefore the number must be 15.

Here "stakeholders" refers to all the people that would be affected by priority sector lending rules. So on one side it would be various types of lenders who are required to follow these guidelines (like scheduled commercial banks, small finance banks, RRBs, Local Area Banks, Urban Cooperative banks) and on the other side the borrowers that fall under priority sector. For borrowers, not individual borrowers can be contacted for comment so usually industry experts or representatives vies would be taken from that angle. and of course, RBI as the regulator is also a stakeholder.
Note - here stakeholder does not mean any one who has a shareholding but who may be an interested party on this topic.

First please note that this is gross profit.
going ahead, yes COGS = 0.8*Revenue
Later when you say COGS = Revenue - gross profit which means 0.8*Revenue = Revenue - gross profit which means gross profit = revenue - 0.8*revenue and we come back to the same thing.

As per that an insurance is a type of NBFC; however it is not registered as an NBFC as there are separate law to govern the business of insurance (even though it is a financial activity). Later in the video Sir has told that insurance company is not registered as NBFC with RBI and same fact has been discussed by Mam in the live session - NBFCs.

first you need to look at the subject. Subject can be either singular or plural.
If the subject is singular, you should use has / had been and if the subject is plural, you should use have and have been.
now let us see where to use 'has/have' and where to use 'has been / have been'. To know this you must have the knowledge of Tense and also Active Passive Voice.
If the sentence is in Active voice then 'has' will be used in Present Perfect Tense and 'has been / have been' will be used in Present Perfect Continuous Tesnse. To understand more , please watch this video : https://youtu.be/2J9jAXCsLLE

We always use "consists of" and only "comprises". "Comprises" itself means "consists of".
Serpentine queues of vehicles could be seen moving slowly over highways due to the dense fog.
This depends on context but usually we say "a serpentine queue of vehicles" and not "serpentine queues". Also, we need to use "on highways" and not "over highways". We use "over" when there is no contact. (Example - The plane flew over the lake).

Read MoreAnswer - In Part B the question says that the administrative cost is same percentage of works cost as in last year. Last year admin cost was 42000 and works cost was 210000. So in % terms it was 42000/210000 = 20%. Now in Part B, the works cost is calculated as 240000. As such the adminitrative cost will be 20% of 240000 = 48000 (as shown in Part B table). Similarly, factory cost has to be determined as % of direct wages. In last year it was 45000/75000 = 60%. As such in current year it will be 60% of 75000 (direct labour cost is same as direct wages) = 45000. Like this, after calculating all costs and expenses, we arrive at Cost of sales of 357000 in Part B. Now profit % is said to be same as last year, so we first calculate the % of profit as a % of cost of sales last year. We know profit/sales last year was = 60900/365400 = 0.1667 Now we also know that sales = (profit +cost of sales) so we know cost of sales. So new profit can... Read More

As explained in the video, the interconnected risk here was talking abt the interconnections between the LDMF (Liquid debt MF) sector with the NBFC sector. the LDMF were the major investors in the commercial papers (CP) of the NBFC sector (including HFCs). The data as per the Eco survey shows that the percentage of funds raised by HFCs through CP is relatively lower than that raised by retail NBFCs. therefore the interconnected risk is lower for HFCs as compared to retail NBFCs.
Note - it is not saying that NBFCs don't have interconnected risk or lower in general..it is talking about the data based facts. as per that the comparison shows that retail NBFCs have larger dependence on CP funding as compared to HFCs

for this refer to the concept of duration of a bond. the higher the duration (which is higher for higher maturity) the higher will be the impact on the price of the bond. so in case of falling interest rates, the price of the bond will rise faster for a higher maturity bond (as price and interest rates or yield are inversely related).

Answer -
Prachi ma'am have done that in the first class on bonds..
To just explain.. AT 1 bonds are additional tier 1 bonds which can be issued by banks and form the part of tier 1 capital.. They are considered as capital because these are perpetual in nature with the condition that in case the bank is in loss and does not have reserves either to pay interest, then it can be decided to write off these bonds or not pay inyerest on them or convert them into equity (the exact conditions can be discussed later)... With yes bank, RBI has asked them to write off the AT1 bonds as the bank is on loss and the CAR is not meeting the minimum requirements... What this means for the bank is that its CAR further reduces (as tier 1 capital to that extent is removed) ... It also shows the bank is weak and cannot pay its obligations.. For investor it means money lost..

Number of Inlet water taps = 7
Method 2:
x(1/6) - (16-x)/(1/18) = 1/1.5
{3x -(16-x)}/18 = 1/1.5

Let Speed of downstream = x & that of upstream = y
So 7.2/x + 3.2/y = 2 ---(1)
and 1.5/x + 0.6/y = 24/60 ---(2)
LCM of 7.2 and 1.5 = 36 So multiplying (1) by 5 and multiplying (2) by 24, we will get,
36/x + 16/y = 10 ---(3)
36/x + 14.4/y = 9.6 ---(4)
Subtracting (4) from (3), we will get,
1.6/y = 0.4
y = 4
and by putting value of y in (1), we will get x = 6
So Speed of boat in downstream = 6kmph

Let total work = LCM(10.12 & 15)
So A's 1 day work = 6 units; B's 1 day work = 5 units ; C's 1 day work = 4 units
Let they together worked initially for x days.
Now ATQ,
(A+B+C) `xx` x + (A+C)`xx` 2 + (C) `xx` 2.5 = 60 ` `
(6+5+4) `xx` x + (6+4)`xx` 2 + (4) `xx` 2.5 = 60 ` `
(15) `xx` x + 20 + 10 = 60
15x +30 = 60
15x = 30
x= 2
So total days = x+ 4.5 = 2+4.5 = 6.5 days ` `
Read MoreAnswer -
After 30 days, work should be finish in remaining 11 days but as work is 1 day earlier so remaining work will be finished in 10 days
50 `xx` 30 + 60 `xx` 10 = 50 `xx` T
1500 + 600 = 50 T
2100 = 50 T
T = 2100/50 = 42 days
So it will take 1 day (= 42-41) beyond the expected time.

1 day earning of (A+B +C ) = 340/4 = Rs.85
1 day earning of (A + C ) = 200/4 = Rs.50

Hello Apporva,
No one can be sure about that, we just have to start preparing for all exams for which we are focussing. If notification will be out today, then just think - are you able to crack it or not. If yes, then its very good but most of students start studies after notification & they failed due to very less marks so better let Govt think about Jobs & we should think about our Study, hard work & our score in mock tests.

In Quant, Start with Series, Quadratic Equation, Simplification/Approximation. You can easily get 10Q in exam out of these topics. These are easily dobale, less time consuming & highly scoring. Also if you will do good practice then error chances are also rare in these topics. Practice daily 2-3 DI as it has maximu weightage in Quant(approx15-20 Q). After completing that 3 topics, start arithmatic chapters one by one as per your interest by doing daily practice of DI. In Reasoning, Start with common sense Reasoning, coded inequality, coded blood relationship, Syllogism first. As puzzles has maximum weightage (Approx 20 Questions) so again practice this daily. Hi Garima
In your solution, you have subtracted 30 from 90 which is wrong, it should be subtracted from 45 as we have assumed total work = 45 units not 90.
Answer:
A can do a job in 9 days & B can so same job in 7.5days.
Assume total work = LCM (9 & 7.5) = 45units
A’s 1 day work = 45/9= 5units;
B’s 1 day work = 45/7.5= 6units
B’s work done in 5 days = 6×5= 30units;
So remaining work = 45 units – 30 units = 15units
So A alone can finish the remaining work in = 15/5 =3 days

Let average expense per head be x when 10 students are going.
So ATQ,
15(x-80) - 10x = 1000
or 15x - 1200 -10x =1000
or 5x = 2200
or x = 440
It means total expense for 10 students = 10x = 4=10*440 = 4400
So total expense for 15 students (5 more) = 4400 +1000 = 5400
So when 5 more will join then total expense will be again increased by Rs.1000, so now expense of 20 students = 5400+1000 = 6400
Hence now per head expense = 6400/20 = Rs. 320

Read MoreQuestion - If 2x+3y=34 and ((x+y)/y)=13/8, then find the value of 5y+7x.
Answer -
2x+3y = 34 --(1)
(x+y)/x = 13/8
or 8x+8y = 13y or 8x= 5y
or x/y = 5/8 So let x = 5k and y =8k
Putting the value of x and y in equation (1), we will get,
2*5k+3*8k = 34
34k=34
k=1
So x = 5 and y = 8
So 5y+7x = 5*8+7*5 = 40+35 =75

Let CP of a pen = x & CP of a book = 2x
SP of a pen = y & SP of a book = z
So SP of 20 pen - CP of 20 pen = SP of 6 book
20y - 20x = 6z ---(1)
and also, CP of 20 books - SP of 20 books = SP of 8 pens
20*2x - 20*z = 8y
40x - 20z =8y ---(2)
& also, Profit % on selling pen & book is same
or (y-x)/x * 100 = (2x-z)/x* 100
y -x = 2x - z
y+z = 3x ---(3)
By solving these 3 equations, y = z
So ratio of SP of pen to book = z/y = 1/1 = 1

Question - how to identify 8.3333 will be equal to 100/12?
Answer -
You have the remember the fractions upto 20
like 1/2 = 50% ,
1/3 = 33.33%
1/4 = 25%
1/5 = 20%
1/6 = 16.66%
1/7 = 14.28%
1/8 = 12.5%
1/9 = 11.11%
1/10 = 10%
1/11 = 9.09%
1/12 = 8.33%

Congratulations on your success in written and Good Luck for Interview!
Remember that interview is not to test your knowledge but to test your attitude, personality traits. Here, your answers are important but more important is the way you respond even if you do not know the answer. Be ready for the questions about yourself, your home state, RRB, current affairs, hobbies, your subjects, but don't worry much about what if they ask something you don't know. Very calmly, you can always say , Sorry sir / ma'am, I don't know the answer. Be cool and confident, take care of your body language and be honest.

Let total work = 60 units
So Ramesh can do daily = 1 units
But for first 30 days, he is working on 25% less means with 0.75 efficiency , so he will do = 30 *0.75 =22.5 units work in 30 days
Now remaining work = 60 - 22.5 = 37.5 units
which will be done by Sumit & Ramesh both in another 30 days.
Let Sumit's efficiency = 2x units per days but as he is working on half days only, so his work will be x units only per day.
So 37.5 = 30 * (1 +x)
37.5/30 = 1+x
1.25 = 1+x
or x = 0.25
So Sumits' 1 day work = 2x = 0.5 units
Hence ratio of efficeincy of sumit & ramesh = 0.5 : 1 = 1:2

So exact answer cannot be determined. Now by (a) & (c) both, p*q = 14 & p = 5 +q hence only possible ans is 72. Now by (b) & (c) both, p = 5+q so numbers can be 50, 61 , 72 , 83 , 94 and number is also divisible by 9 so only ans is 72 possible So finally , (c) and eit... Read More

Product can be odd only when all numbers are odd , if any number will be even then product will be even.
So total numbers are 10 & odd numbers out of 10 are 5(1,3,5,7 & 9).
So required probability = 5c3/ 10c3 = 10 / 120 = 1/12

236 * 6.5 = 1534
1534 *5.5 = 8437
8437*4.5 = 37966.5
37966.5*5.5 = 132882.75
So 8437.5 should be replaced by 8437.
This is very common series & take approx values to get an idea.
Lets round off the series, it will be
240 , 1550 , 8450 , 38000 , 133000
So 240 *6 = 1440 & 240 * 7 = 1680 So 1550 is in middle So you can get an idea it is somewhere between so it will be 6.5 & so on.

Read MoreQuestion - If the code for RESPONSE is written as FFMOPQRR, then APPROACH is written as?
Answer -
You can see that in Response, there are 2 S's and 2E' , similarly in FFMOPQRR ,there are 2 F's and 2 R's .
So you can see that E is near by F and R is near by S.
So vowel is actually changing to +1 and constant is changing to -1.
And then word is arranged to alphabetical order.
Means
R -1 = Q
E+1 = F
S -1 = R
P -1 = O
O +1 = P
N -1 = M
S - 1 = R
E + 1 = F
so QFROPMRF when arranged in alphabetical order , it will be FFMOPQRR.
similarly
APPROACH = BOOQPBBG
When arranged in alphabetical order , it will be BBBGOOPQ.

Let SP1 = 500 & SP2 = 300
Profti1 = 25% & loss2 = 15%
So CP1 = 500/125% = 400 & CP2 = 300/85% = 30000/85 = 6000/17
So net CP = 400 + 6000/17 = 12800/17
Net SP = 500 + 300 = 800
So net loss% = (800 - 12800/17)/ (12800/17) *100
= 800/12800*100
= 6.25%

So just try to get atleats 10-15 more than in this case. If cutoff is near to 60 then you must score between 70-75 atleast to be on safer side & never think just to qualify cutoff. Think bigger , then only you will be able to survive in competiion.

Afterthat solve 2 puzzles first which are easy & in which more direct data is given & in which there are less statements/variables.
Now atlast, solve hardest puzzles if you have time, you can skip one hardest puzzle.
Like if you have 4puzzles , then one will be very difficult and try to skip & dont waste too much time to solve any puzzle in exam.

and similiraly find just lesser number than 900 which is divisible by 11, it is 891,
So series is 407 , 418 , ....... 891
This series is basically an A.P as diff between every 2 terms is 11
So shortcut to find the average of an AP series 1/2(first term +last term)

= 98x : 80x:48x
= 49 : 40 : 24
Now one fourth is going to chairty which is 9718
so profit which is dividing in to them = 3/4th = 9718*3 =29154
Hence Share of X = 49 *29154/(49+40+24) = 48*29154/113 = Rs. 12642(Ans)

Answer -
Hi Rajat,
No one can predict the cut-off, but most of the people are expecting it to be around 90 marks for General category.
If you are expecting selection, you have to try your best in the remaining days. The syllabus in the competitive exam is always indicative and the competition is tougher in the next phase (Mains exam) and interview.
So better start full preparation right now so that you score maximum in Phase 2 exam.

So taking alligation on Milk,

37.5(Net)
12.5 : 2.5
5 : 1
So Quantity of 1st can out of 48L = 5/6*48L = 40L
& Quantity of 2nd can = 48 -40 = 8L
Hence Quantity of milk from 1st mixture = 35% of 40L = 14L
& Quantity of milk from 2nd mixture = 50% of 8L = 4L

Let CP = 100 & Listed Price = 175 , Discount = 50% of 175 So SP = 175/2 = 87.5 So loss = 12.5
Now New discount = 25% of 175 = 43.75 So New SP = 175 -43.75 = 131.25 Hence now profit = 31.25
Hence Difference in profit = 31.25 -( -12.5) = 43.75
So 43.75 ------ Rs. 210
Hence 1-------- Rs. 210/43.75
So 100 -------- Rs. 210/(43.75) * 100 = Rs.480

Answer -
Dear Sonam,
It is dicey becuase last year cut was approx 50-51 so this time as there was sectional timings so cut off will be low as compared to last year.
So it is expected between 45and 50
now you have done only 46 question , Some may be wrong so your score will be around 40 if we count 90% accuracy
Keep Studying for Mains & RRB exam as no one can predict the actual cutoff.
Also fill Rbi grade B exam
From 16th july , you can apply new india assurance exam too
So lets hope for the best.

Answer -
Hi Shyamapada,
Last year for ST cut off was 31.25 which was higher than previous years. So if we see from this trend, it should be somewhere between 30 to 35. But, cut off depends on two factors, difficulty level of the questions and number of vacancies and since exam is yet to be conducted, it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff.
I suggest you not to worry much about the cutoff but focus on your preparation / revision and try to write the exam to the best of your ability.

Hi Ruchika,
Cutoff depends on the level of questions and number of vacancies and also the performance of the candidates in the exam. Since, this year all the exams are not yet over, it is really difficult to predit the cutoff. Since you have already written this exam, I would suggest you to not think much about it but focus more on your preparation for next exams (Mains for the JA and also other Banking exams for which you are preparing).

There is no point of discouraging by thinking of your age. As it hardly matters, even any bank always select a mature person instead of fresher. For example, There are two candidate for interview: one is Btech & another is MCA, So one who has masters , he has more chances to selcect. They have to pay equal to both they prefer to get more qualified persons. So this is same in your case too. We have seen many students of age 30 or 30+ who got selected in SBI & other bank PO.
Just Study Hard.

Hi Chirag,
Your scores are improving with each test and that is a very good sign, Now since exam is not very far, i would suggest you to write one mock test everyday and analyse the test. First focus on all the questions which you attempted but answers were not corrcet that means you made some mistake. Learn from your mistake and promise yourself not to make the same mistake again, Next, focus on all the questions which you could not attempt because of time constraint. See if any section which is actually easy and less time taking but you could not attempt. Try to attempt that section in next test first. This way you can improve your score very fast.
Hope it will help!
