DSSSB PGT Recruitment Notification 2024
DSSSB Recruitment for PGT posts has been announced for the year 2022. For the PGT post, the application window will start on July 28, 2022, and end on August 27, 2022. The exam date has not been announced yet. If you are interested in applying for any of the posts and also possess the required qualifications, you apply once the online application link is active. DSSSB Recruitment 2024: How to Apply Online
In the complete DSSSB Recruitment selection process 2024, one of the most important parts is filling the application process. It is advised to carefully fill the application process, otherwise, you will not be able to appear for the DSSSB exam 2021. Following are some simple steps you should follow to fill the application form.
- Visit the official website of DSSSB i.e. http://dsssb.delhi.gov.in and click for ‘New Registration’.
- A provisional registration number and password will be generated. Save the details for further reference.
- Move to the next step and fill up all the required details in the application form.
- Upload the required documents (Photograph, signature, and other required documents) after scanning them properly and follow the mentioned specifications.
- After this you will have to fill in all the details related to the qualifications & experience.
- Once all the details have been filled the last and final step will be fee payment.
- After the payment is done click on the ‘Submit button‘.
DSSSB Recruitment Application Fee
After the submission of the DSSSB online form 2024, you need to pay the requisite amount to DSSSB. Please note that without the submission of the application fee, your application will remain incomplete. Also, you need to submit the application fee through online mode only. DSSSB PGT Recruitment Exam Pattern 2024
DSSSB selection process 2024 will consist of 2 tiers followed by a skill test (wherever applicable). Please note that the questions will be bilingual in nature except for the Language papers. Also, there is no provision of re-evaluation/re-checking of Answer Sheets. The Selection Process of DSSSB PGT has been given below. There are different exam patterns for candidates who applied for different posts.

DSSSB Recruitment Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2024 (Technical)-PGT
For candidates applying for PGT Music (Male), PGT (Fine Arts/Painting) (Male), PGT Computer Science (Male), PGT Computer Science (Female), Educational and Vocational Guidance Counselor (EVGC) (Male) and Educational and Vocational Guidance Counselor (EVGC) (Female) need to follow the below exam pattern.

Minimum qualifying marks for DSSSB PGT Recruitment
A candidate needs to secure minimum qualifying marks for one Tier/Two Tier written examination (Objective/Descriptive Type) provided as follows
- General: 40%
- OBC (Delhi): 35%
- SC/ST/PH (PwD): 30%
Please note that Tier 1 is for shortlisting purposes only, Tier 2 marks will only be evaluated for the merit list.

DSSSB PGT Recruitment Age Criteria 2024 (As on August 27,2022)
Apart from the DSSSB PGT educational criteria, you also need to fulfil the age criteria mentioned by the DSSSB PGT Recruitment notification. You must be below 36 years of age (PGT) and in some cases below 30 years of age. Certain relaxation is also provided for candidates belonging to the reserved category and of the teachers teaching in universities. Any candidate exceeding the age of 36 years will not be allowed to appear in the DSSSB exam 2024.

Guest/Contract teachers:- Relaxation in upper age as a one-time measure up to the actual time spent as a contractual employee of the same department, subject to a maximum of 5 years provided they have worked for at least 180 working days in that particular year as per Services Department.
Teaching in University:- 05 years of age relaxation to “those who are Teaching in University” may be given which is at par with the age relaxation given to Govt. Servant for posts that are in the same line or allied cadres.
DSSSB PGT Recruitment Age Relaxation 2024 (As on August 27,2022)
There is the provision of certain age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories. Please note that the relaxation will be applied to the upper age limit. Other than reserved category candidates, Relaxation will be applied to Departmental candidates, Meritorious Sports Persons, Ex-Servicemen Group B & C (Non-Gazetted), Disabled Defence services personnel (Group “C”), and more. DSSSB Recruitment Salary 2024
After the selection, you will be appointed as PGT or Post Graduate Teachers in the respective subjects by DSSSB. You will be eligible to receive a salary under a Grade Pay of 4800 for PGT posts. DSSSB Recruitment PGT will receive a salary in Pay Scale:- Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4800/- Group: ‘B’.
