The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) General Duty (GD) has been released on 21th July to recruit various eligible candidates for the post of Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretarial Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs and the Staff Selection Commission. The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination. SSC has released 54,953 vacancies for the recruitment of constables through SSC GD 2018 Exams.
Admit Card for any stage of examination will not be sent by Post. Facility for download of Admit Cards will be provided at the websites of Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices of the Commission as well as on the website of CRPT i.e. http://www.crpf.gov.in.

Procedure for online submission of applications is given at Annexure-III. The application procedure for SSC Constable GD 2018 exam will be in two steps. First, Candidates have to fill all the common details such as name, mobile number, category etc. After completing the stage I online form aspirant have to click on submit button. And in the Second part candidates have to enter educational qualification and then they will have to upload scanned copies of passport size photograph and signature.
