SSC (Staff Selection Commission) is known to be one of the highly reputed organization which organizes various exams like SSC CGL, SSC CHSL, SSC MTS and many others. Notification 2021

The official SSC GD notification has complete details related to the exam like vacancies, apply online link, application fee, and other details. The SSC GD (Constable) computer-based exam will be held from November 16, 2021 - December 15, 2021. You are advised to fill the application form before the last date to avoid any last-minute rush.

Exam Pattern 2021

Every year SSC conducts recruitment for the post of GD Constable, the stable and secured job to start your career. The entire SSC GD Constable recruitment process involves four major phases: Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test(PST), Medical Examination followed by Document Verification. The first step will be to pass the computer-based examination (CBE) which will contain objective-type questions. If you pass this online exam you will be called for next stage of the SSC GD recruitment process. The details of all the stages are given below.

Computer Based Examination

The first phase of the SSC GD Constable exam is a computer-based online exam. It consists of four sections - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics & English/ Hindi. The online exam is an objective-type test having 100 questions of 100 marks. A composite time duration of 90 minutes will be provided to the candidates. The marks scored in this phase will be first normalized and then will be considered while forming the final cut-off & the merit list.

  • The test will be bilingual (English & Hindi). 
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks in the exam for every wrong answer.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Based on your performance in the SSC Constable online exam, you will be shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test by the Commission as discussed in our page in detail. 

Physical Standard Test (PST)

After the 'Physical Efficiency Test' is cleared, the candidates will have to undergo a 'Physical Standard Test', where the assessment will be done based on certain set standards. More details on PST refer to PST measurement information.

Medical Examination

Exam Dates 2021

SSC releases notification for General Duty (GD) examination every year. The SSC GD Constable exam is a one-day examination followed by a PET / PST and a medical verification. SSC has not released the exam dates yet. Candidates had to apply online from July 17, 2021, to Aug 31, 2021. The computer-based exam for SSC GD (Constable) will be held from November 16, 2021, to December 15, 2021. Eligibility Criteria 2021

To apply for SSC GD Constable recruitment you should meet various eligibility criteria wrt the education qualification, age, nationality, no. of attempts permissible. Educational Criteria

To be eligible to apply for the SSC GD Constable exam you need to possess a matriculation degree or must be a 10th class pass from a recognized Board/ University. How to Apply Online

Lakhs of students apply for the SSC exam every year but incorrect information in the application form leads to the cancellation of the application form.   • You need to visit the official website to fill the application form for the SSC GD Constable 
  • Click on the APPLY ONLINE link given on the official page
  • Click on the New Registration link for and fill in all the required details like name, DOB, email id, Mobile number 
  • A registration ID and password will be generated 
  • Login again with the login id (registration ID) and password provided to complete the registration process further
  • Upload photograph and signature as prescribed below
    • Photograph between 4KB and 12 KB with 100*120 pixels having a white or light coloured background
    • The signature must be between 1KB and 12KB with a resolution between 40*60 pixels with blue or black ink
  • Preview the application form before final submit
  • Pay the application fee as per your category
  • Click on the final submit button to complete the registration process
  • Take a print out of the registration form for future use

Application Fee

After the successful completion of the SSC GD Constable application form, you need to pay the application fees online/ offline. Your application process will be considered incomplete if you are unable to submit the SSC GD application fee. Admit Card 2021

The admit card for SSC GD Constable can be downloaded from the official website of CRPF i.e. The admit card will have all the information regarding the venue address, date and time. The SSC GD Constable can be downloaded by entering your details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy will be sent by post/courier. In case you are unable to download admit card for PST/ PET or any other stage, you should contact the CRPF at least one week before PET/ PST.
