IBPS is a self-governing recruitment body which is responsible for recruitment in various banking organizations in India. Every year IBPS releases recruitment notification for various posts in both commercial as well as rural banks. All the candidates who are interested in joining any one of the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) as Group “A” Officers in Scale III can start registering for the Common Recruitment Process for the RRBs (CRP-RRBs). For Officers in Scale III there will be a single level examination.

 

IBPS RRB Officer Scale III Exam Notification

IBPS has finally released the official notification for the recruitment in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) for Group “A” Officer Scale III. The application process has already commenced and all the interested candidates who were waiting since long for this notification can finally apply for their desirable post. The recruitment process for RRBs will be managed by the coordination among NABARD, Nodal Regional Rural Banks and IBPS. The application process for IBPS RRB Officer Scale III has started from 18th June 2019 and will go on till 4th of July 2019. The single level online examination for IBPS RRB Officers Scale III is scheduled to be held on 22nd September 2019. All the candidates should check their eligibility and other important information related to the exam.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale III Exam Pattern

IBPS RRB Examination for the post of Scale III Officers will be single level which will be followed by the final Interview stage. There will only be one online examination which will be objective type. There will be 5 sections in the exam: Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, Financial Awareness, English/Hindi Language & Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation. All the sections will consist of 40 questions which will make a total of 200 questions in the exam. Maximum marks in the exam including all sections will also be 200, where the test of Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation will be of 50 marks, Computer Knowledge will be of 20 marks and the remaining tests will carry 40 maximum marks. Candidates will have the option to choose between tests of Hindi Language and English Language. The time duration available for the exam will be 120 minutes.

  • There will be a penalty for all the wrong answers marked by the candidate.
  • For every incorrect answer, 1/4th of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted.
  • There will not be any deduction for a question that is left unattempted.
  • There will also be minimum cut-off scores which need to be secured by the candidate in order to be selected for the Interview.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale III Interview 

The candidates who are able to score the required cut-off marks will be shortlisted for Interview and if they perform well, they will appear in the final merit list after considering the marks obtained in the online examination and Interview. While appearing for Interview the candidates should produce the required valid documents. Any candidate who fails to do so, will not be considered for the Interview.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale III Exam Language

There will be a single level examination for IBPS RRB Officer Scale III 2019 Examination. There will be 5 subjects on which the test questions will be asked. The examination will be online and the candidates will have the choice to choose between English or Hindi as their default exam language. This option will be not be applicable to the test of English/Hindi language. Whichever language a candidate would choose, the language test will contain questions from the same language only.
