IBPS has finally released its official notification for the post of PO. Every year IBPS releases its vacancies to recruit the eligible candidates for the post of PO ( Probationary Officer). IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2019

IBPS PO 2019 Prelims ( Preliminary) is the first phase of the IBPS PO recruitment process. Only recently IBPS has introduced a new pattern of sectional timings in the ‘Prelims’ as well as ‘Mains’ exam. There will be three sections / tests which except the test of English Language will be bilingual. All the questions will be ‘objective type’. The candidates will have to secure sectional cut-off in each test along with the overall cut-off. The details of the Prelims phase are as follows:

IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2019

After the first phase of IBPS PO Prelims is over and the candidates have been shortlisted according to the announced cut-off, they are expected to clear the phase II further. The IBPS PO Phase II is the Main exam which consists of four objective type tests along with one English descriptive test which will be evaluated only if you secure the expected cut-off in the other four objective tests and this cumulative score ( Objective tests marks + Descriptive marks) will further go on to decide your selection for the third Interview stage.

IBPS PO Exam Language

The IBPS PO 2019 (Prelims + Mains) Exam gives the candidates a chance to choose their medium of exam between English and Hindi language, except in the test of English Language. All the other tests can be given in the candidates’ desired language. Also, IBPS exam interface gives you an option to view any particular question in a different medium apart from the one that has been selected in the starting. This option will also be available for all the tests as mentioned above, except the test of English Language.

IBPS PO Marking Scheme 2019

IBPS follows a certain criteria when it comes to the marks allotted and the marks deducted when a candidate appears for the IBPS PO Exam. This particular marking scheme can also be considered as a part of the difficulty level of the exam. Every incorrect answer would cost 1/4th of the original marks allotted to the particular question. There will not be any deduction for an unattempted answer.

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019

IBPS follows a specific eligibility criteria which all applicants need to follow if they do not want to be rejected further in the process. You will not be allowed to fill in the application if you do not conform to the IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019 mentioned in the official notification. IBPS PO Educational Criteria

The most important part of the ‘eligibility criteria’ is confirming the eligibility of a candidate, that if he/she is eligible enough to appear for the examination or not. Age Relaxation for IBPS PO

IBPS gives relaxation with respect to age, to the candidates of certain categories, to facilitate them in the recruitment process. Refer to the table given below to get the required details regarding the age relaxation:

IBPS PO Salary 2019

Once you are fully aware of all the details , one important aspect still remains to be known which is the IBPS PO salary. It is extremely necessary to know about the salary / pay scale in the job you are aiming to get for yourself .It is always good to know each and every detail of a job you are aiming for as your future depends on it. IBPS PO 2019 salary can be expected to be on similar lines with what it was the previous year. We can not completely predict the IBPS PO salary in hand but you can surely get a clear idea of what to expect.

  • A PO or Probationary Officer is entitled to receive a starting basic salary of Rs 23,700 / month.
  • IBPS PO salary structure also includes a ‘Dearness Allowance’ of Rs. 13,000 (around 55% of the basic salary). 
  • An IBPS PO will also be entitled to various other allowances and perks such as House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance along with some annual increments.

IBPS PO Apply Online 2019

Once the official notification gets released, you will be required to start your IBPS PO online application process and start filling the application form. IBPS PO ‘apply online’ link has been activated and the candidates can start applying now. The IBPS PO last date for application/registration is 28th August 2019. The IBPS PO online registration process has been simplified in a few steps:

  • As the IBPS PO Recruitment 2019 Notification is released, you can start applying for the same now.
  • Go to the official website of IBPS and search for the IBPS PO registration link and click on: "CLICK HERE FOR REGISTRATION" tab provided on the top right corner of the page.
  • You will be redirected to the first page of the IBPS PO 2019 application form where you will be required to fill in all the basic details and click on the Save & Next button to move forward.
  • You will now be redirected to the second page of the form where you will be asked to upload your scanned passport size photograph and signature based on the specification mentioned therein and click on the next button.
  • After you move on to the next page, you will have to fill in your personal details including your educational qualifications.
  • The next step would be filling the exam centres preference list. You will be required to fill in 4 centres. Click on 'Save & Next'.
  • After you are finished with entering the details, the preview of your form will be shown, so that if you find any errors, you may edit and correct it. Once the application is submitted, you will not be able to edit it.
  • At the end, you will have to choose a preferable online payment method to submit the application fee for IBPS PO. You can pay the fees through credit card / debit card / net banking etc.

IBPS PO 2019 Application Fee

Once you are done with the complete application process of the IBPS PO 2019 Exam, you will be asked to submit the required application fee for the exam. IBPS PO Exam Centres

IBPS will allot various centres for the IBPS PO exam centre for IBPS PO 2019 online examination. The candidates are allotted IBPS PO Pre exam centre and IBPS PO Mains exam centre according to the various shifts of the examination. Usually the Prelims Exam is held across two weeks on ‘Saturdays’ & ‘Sundays’ in more than one shifts throughout the day, whereas the Mains exam is held in a single week, usually on one day, as the number of shortlisted candidates are lesser than those appearing in Prelims.

IBPS PO Admit Card 2019

After the application process for the IBPS PO 2019 ends, after few days the candidates will be intimated regarding the release of the IBPS PO admit card, indicating the date, time and venue of the examination. The procedure will be same for both Prelims & Mains. The IBPS PO admit card for Prelims will be released few days before the Preliminary exam and the IBPS PO Mains admit card will be released few days before the IBPS PO Mains. The candidates will have to bring a print of the admit card along with a xerox copy of an identity proof, failing which he / she will not be allowed to appear in the examination.The final stage of selection will be that of the Interview and the IBPS PO Interview call letter will also be released few days before the date of the Interview. IBPS PO Cut-off

IBPS PO Job Profile

Once you cross all the stages and finally reach the phase of being a PO ( Probationary Officer), you are designated as an Assistant Manager (AM) and are supposed to be on a probation period of two years.
