Candidates who clear the Main Exam will be called to take part in a Personality Test (Self-Report Assessment).

IBPS PO Nationality Criteria

To apply for IBPS PO Recruitment 2026, a candidate must meet one of the following nationality conditions:

Age eligibility is calculated as on July 01, 2026.

Age Relaxation

The Government of India offers upper-age relaxation to reserved categories as follows:

IBPS has clarified that relaxation for SC/ST/OBC can be combined only with specified categories wherever government rules permit. Candidates claiming age relaxation must produce valid certificates in the prescribed format at the interview stage.

Educational Qualification

One of the most important eligibility requirements is the educational qualification.

Candidates must hold:

• A Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India.
• An equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
• The graduation result must have been declared on or before July 21, 2026, and candidates should have a valid degree certificate or mark sheet at the time of registration.

• Final-year students whose results haven't been declared by the cut-off date aren't eligible.
• Candidates must enter the correct percentage of marks while filling out the application form.
• If a university awards CGPA/OGPA, candidates must convert it into a percentage as per the university's prescribed formula and produce supporting documents during verification.
• The percentage is worked out by dividing total marks obtained by the aggregate maximum marks across all semesters or years, irrespective of honours or optional subjects, and multiplying by 100.

Reservation Policy

Reservation applies as per Government of India guidelines.

The notification provides reservation for:
