PFRDA Grade A Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2024 for IT Stream
The PFRDA Grade A exam for IT Stream will take place in three phases.
- Phase 1
- Phase 2
- Phase 3
PFRDA Grade A Phase 1 and Phase 2, except the Test of English section, will be bilingual i.e in Hindi and English. There will be a negative marking of 1/4th mark assigned to the question for every wrong answer you attempt.
PFRDA Grade A Phase 1 Exam Pattern
PFRDA Grade A IT exam pattern for Phase 1 is a multiple-choice question-based online exam. It will consist of two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. The PFRDA Grade A Paper 1 exam is common for every stream whereas Paper 2 is different for different streams whose details are mentioned below.

Phase 1 is qualifying in nature and you need to secure separate cut-offs in each paper as well as aggregate cut-off marks in Phase 1 to be shortlisted for Phase 2.
PFRDA Grade A Phase 2 Exam Pattern
PFRDA Assistant Manager exam pattern for Phase 2 is a combination of multiple-choice and descriptive tests. The exam pattern of PFRDA Grade A IT stream Phase 2 consists of two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is a test of Descriptive English and is common for all streams whereas Paper 2 is related to the respective subject domain. A separate call letter will be issued for Phase 2. If you have applied in multiple streams, PFRDA Grade A exam 2024 Paper 2 will be conducted in various shifts whose timing will be intimated in the admit card. You need to secure separate cut-offs in each paper as well as aggregate cut-off marks in Phase 2 to be shortlisted for an interview.
Phase 3- Personal Interview
Based on your performance in the Phase 2 exam, you will be called for PFRDA Grade A Interview. You can opt to reply in Hindi or English as per your convenience in the Interview. The final merit for PFRDA Grade A IT recruitment 2024 will be decided on the marks obtained by you in Phase 2 and Interview. PFRDA Assistant Manager Phase 2 has a weightage of 85% marks and the interview has a weightage of 15% marks.

PFRDA Grade A Salary 2024
The PFRDA Grade A pay scale is Rs.44500-2500(4)-54500-2850(7)-74450-EB-2850(4)- 85850-3300(1)-89150 (17 years). You will be on probation for one year if you got selected as a PFRDA Officer in Grade ‘A’. The PFRDA Assistant Manager's salary structure is given below. Besides, this you will be eligible for other benefits like Leave Fare Concession, Medical Expenses, Cleaning Allowance, Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance and others. You will also be eligible to be covered under National Pension System. At present, the PFRDA Assistant Manager's total CTC is approx. Rs. 18.00 lakh / annum.
