PFRDA Grade A Rajbhasha 2026 Highlights
The primary responsibility of a PFRDA Rajbhasha Officer is to promote and implement the organisation’s Hindi language policy. This includes translating official documents between Hindi and English, preparing reports, and organising language-training sessions to enhance staff proficiency. The role demands a strong command of Hindi and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
The PFRDA notification (Advt. No. 01/2025) for 2026 will be issued sometime in mid-2026. Any aspirant who was unable to appear for the exam this year can prepare for the 2026 cycle right away. If you are eligible, you will be able to appear for the exam when the notification is released.

PFRDA Grade A Rajbhasha Exam Calendar
The PFRDA Rajbhasha notification will be released in mid-2026, and the online application window will be made clear in the recruitment notification. Candidates should complete their forms and fee payments within this period to ensure a valid submission.
The Phase I (Online Screening) Examination for the Rajbhasha stream will be held first, and it will be a qualifier. This phase consists of two objective papers, one on general aptitude and one on Rajbhasha, and carries negative marking for incorrect answers.
The Phase II (Online Main) Examination will be held after that, and those who clear Phase I will be eligible. It comprises a descriptive English paper and a Rajbhasha-specific objective test. Only those who clear the objective cut-offs will have their descriptive scripts evaluated.
The Phase III (Personal Interview) will be held after, with exact dates and venue details communicated to Phase II qualifiers via email/SMS. This final stage assesses candidates’ language expertise, translation skills, and policy understanding.

PFRDA Rajbhasha Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit
Between 21 and 30 years. Relaxations: +5 years for SC/ST; +3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer); +10/13/15 years for PwBD (UR/OBC/SC-ST respectively); +5 years for Ex-servicemen.
Educational Qualifications
– A Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the bachelor’s level; or
– A Master’s degree in Sanskrit, English, Economics or Commerce with Hindi as a subject at the bachelor’s level.
Final-year postgraduates awaiting results may apply provisionally, provided they submit proof of passing as per the deadline provided.
No Objection Certificate
Government or PSU employees must present a No Objection Certificate from their employer at the interview stage.

PFRDA Rajbhasha Exam Pattern
Once you are done with the application, the next step should be to gather information on the PFRDA Rajbhasha exam pattern. The selection process of the PFRDA Assistant Manager exam is a three-stage one, which is as follows:

Prelims Exam Pattern
The PFRDA Rajbhasha Prelims exam pattern consists of an online examination that will consist of multiple-choice-based questions. There will be two papers: Paper 1 & Paper 2 in Phase 1 (Prelims) of 100 marks each. Paper 1 will consist of questions from various subjects such as the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Test of Reasoning, and General Awareness. Paper 2 will be stream-specific.

Mains Exam Pattern
Phase 2 of the PFRDA Rajbhasha exam will also consist of two papers: Paper 1 & Paper 2, both of which will be online exams. Paper 1 will be an English Descriptive Test of 100 marks, and Paper 2 will be an objective type that will be stream-specific.
