SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2020
SBI has announced 8000 vacancies for the post of Junior Associates(Customer support and sales) and all the interested candidates should start applying for the same. While you start the application process, you should know all the details regarding the SBI Junior Associates exam pattern. SBI Junior Associates Examination 2020 is going to be conducted in two main phases:
- Phase 1 - Preliminary Examination (online)
- Phase 2 - Main Examination (online)
The Main Examination will further be followed by a Language proficiency test which will be a test of specified opted local language.
SBI Clerk Phase 1 Exam Pattern (Prelims) 2020
SBI will conduct an online preliminary exam in the Phase 1 of SBI Junior Associate Exam. The Preliminary Exam consists of an objective test which have three sections i.e English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability worth 100 marks. All the sections are allotted separate marks and separate sectional timings. A candidate cannot shift to another section until the timing of that particular section is exhausted. The total timing of the exam will be 1 hour.
- There will also be a negative marking of 1/4th or 0.25 marks.
- There are no minimum qualifying marks for each section or overall stated by SBI.

SBI Clerk Phase 2 Exam Pattern (Mains) 2020
All the candidates who manage to clear the SBI Junior Associate Preliminary Exam will appear in the Phase 2 - Main Examination. The results of the Preliminary Exam will be released soon after the exam and the admit cards for the Mains will also be released soon after that. There is not much gap between the Phase 1 and Phase 2 Exams, therefore you need to be in preparation mode since the start. The Main Examination will also be an online test consisting of four sections. i.e. General / Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude which are allotted different marks and different sectional timings. The total time duration is going to be of 2 Hours 40 Minutes.
- There will be a negative marking of 1/4th of the marks allotted to the question.
- There will not be any sectional cut-off in the exam.

SBI Clerk Language Proficiency Test
- All those candidates who qualify for selection and produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be subjected to any Language test.
- In case of others (qualified for selection), specified opted local language test will be conducted after provisional selection which will be done before joining.
- Candidates not found to be proficient in specified opted local language would be disqualified.
SBI Clerk 2020: Provisional Selection (Subject to qualifying specified opted local language).
Provisional selection will be done on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the SBI Junior Associate Main Examination 2020. The final selection will be done once the eligibility of the candidates is verified and all the information provided by the candidates in the application form is certified to be true.
SBI Clerk Reserved List
Along with the final selections, SBI will release a waiting (Reserved) list of up to 50% of vacancies (State-category wise). This list will be valid for one year from the result declaration date. The appointment of the candidates in the wait list will be done on the basis of the other candidates who resign in the middle of their term or do not join at all.
SBI Clerk Exam Language 2020
In SBI Clerk 2020 exam all the questions in the objective tests is expected to be bilingual, i.e. they will be available both in Hindi and English except the test of English Language in both the phases. Candidates can attempt the question in any language preferred. A candidate can also switch any particular question in order to watch it in the language of his/her choice.
SBI CLERK EXAM MARKING SCHEME
There is a provision of negative marking in the exam. For every wrong answer marked 1/4th of marks allotted to that question will be deducted. In SBI Clerk Prelims exam, each question consists of 1 mark, so for very wrong question marked 1/4th or 0.25 marks will be deducted. For SBI Clerk Mains exam marks allotted to each section varies, so if a candidate wrongly marked any particular question 1/4th marks allotted to that question will be deducted. SBI Clerk Exam Dates 2020
SBI has released its official notification for the much awaited SBI Junior Associate posts. This is a clerical level job and yet is awaited by most of the candidates, being a way to enter the largest organization. SBI has specified a certain age limit with respect to the Junior Associate post. It mentions that a candidate who wishes to appear in the exam, should not be below 20 years and not above 28 years which means a candidate must not born before January 02, 1992 and not after than January 01, 2000. SBI Clerk Age Relaxation

SBI Clerk 2020: How to Apply
The official notification of SBI Clerk 2020 has been released and the application process of the same will remain open till January 26, 2020. To avoid missing the last date, all the candidates should start applying for the exam. The application process consists of few simple steps which can be easily followed to submit your application successfully.
- In the first step, a candidate needs to visit the official website of SBI www.sbi.co.in
- In the second step the candidate is required to enter some basic details after which the/she will be registered and a provisional registration number and password is generated by the system which will be useful for further process.
- In the third step, a candidate needs to upload his/her photograph and signature for which guidelines will be provided.
- In the fourth step, candidate will be redirected to the application form where you will have to fill up all the personal information related to education, experience and others.
- After the completion of the application form, candidates are now required to preview the application from and see if the information filled by him/her are correct.
- After doing the preview candidates are now required to submit the application form. Please note that after the submission no change in the application form will be “Entertained”.
- After the whole process gets completed, candidate will be required to submit the application fee which will be done through online mode.
- Guidelines of uploading Photograph/ Signature:
- The size of the photograph must be in between 20kb to 50kb.
- The size of the signature needs to be in between 10kb to 20kb.
SBI Clerk Application Fee
As soon as you complete filling up all the details in the SBI Junior Associate (clerk) 2020 application form, the last step towards the completion of the application process is payment of application fee which will also be done in online mode. You will be given various online payment options from which you will have to choose one to pay the requisite fee. Candidates belonging to General/OBC/EWS have to pay a total amount of Rupees 750 whereas the candidates belonging to SC/ST/XS/PWD are exempted to pay the fees. Once paid, the fees will not be refunded. Without submitting the application fee, the application will be considered incomplete.

SBI Clerk Admit Card 2020
A candidate will be required to download his/her call letter from the authorised website by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier. A candidate needs to bring the print of admit card along with a copy of valid identity proof. The admit cards will be released a few days before the examination. The Admit card for both phases will be released separately by SBI.
