SBI Clerk Notification 2021
State Bank of India is going to release the SBI Clerk notification 2021 soon. SBI being one of the largest banks of India, attracts a majority of job aspirants irrespective of the post. SBI will invite applications from the eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre. SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2021
While you start the SBI Clerk application process, you should know all the details regarding the SBI Clerk exam pattern. SBI Clerk Exam 2021 is going to be conducted in two main phases:
- Phase 1 - Preliminary Examination (online)
- Phase 2 - Main Examination (online)
The Main Examination will further be followed by a Language proficiency test which will be a test of specified opted local language.
SBI Clerk (Prelims) Exam Pattern 2021
SBI Clerk exam for Prelims will be conducted online. The SBI Clerk Prelims exam consists of an objective test that has three sections i.e English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability worth 100 marks. All the sections in SBI Clerk Prelims exam are allotted separate marks and separate sectional timings. You cannot shift to another section until the timing of that particular section is exhausted. The total timing of the SBI Clerk Prelims exam is 1 hour.
- There is a negative marking of 1/4th or 0.25 marks.
- There are no minimum qualifying marks for each section but the overall cut off is there.

SBI Clerk (Mains) Exam Pattern 2021
If you manage to clear the SBI Clerk Prelims exam you have to appear in the SBI Clerk Main Exam. After the SBI Clerk Prelims result, admit cards for the Mains will also be released. There is not much gap between the SBI Clerk Prelims and Mains exam, therefore you need to be in preparation mode since the start. The SBI Clerk Main Exam will also be an online test consisting of four sections. i.e. General / Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude which are allotted different marks and different sectional timings. The total time duration is going to be of 2 Hours 40 Minutes.
- There will be a negative marking of 1/4th of the marks allotted to the question.
- There will not be any sectional cut-off in the exam.

SBI Clerk Language Proficiency Test
- If you qualify the selection and produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate, having studied the specified opted local language then you will not be subjected to any Language test
- In case of others (qualified for selection), specified opted local language test will be conducted after provisional selection which will be done before joining
- If it is found that you are not proficient in specified opted local language then you will be disqualified
SBI Clerk 2021: Provisional Selection (Subject to qualifying specified opted local language).
Provisional selection will be done on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the SBI Clerk Main Exam 2021. The final selection will be done once the eligibility is verified and all the information provided by you in the SBI Clerk application form is certified to be true.
SBI Clerk Reserved List
Along with the final selections, SBI will release awaiting (Reserved) list State-category wise. This list will be valid for one year from the result declaration date. The appointment of the candidates in the waitlist will be done if the appointed candidates resign in the middle of their term or do not join at all.

SBI Clerk Application Fee
As soon as you complete filling up all the details in the SBI clerk 2021 application form, the last step towards the completion of the application process is the payment of the application fee which will also be done through online mode. You will be given various online payment options to pay the requisite fee. Once paid, the SBI Clerk fee will not be refunded. Without submitting the SBI Clerk application fee, the application will be considered incomplete.

SBI Clerk Exam Language
In the SBI Clerk exam 2021 all the questions in the objective tests are expected to be bilingual, i.e. they will be available both in Hindi and English except the test of English Language in both the phases. You can attempt the question in any language preferred. You can also switch any particular question in order to watch it in the language you prefer.
SBI Clerk Admit Card 2021
You will be required to download your SBI Clerk call letter from the authorized website by entering your details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy of the SBI Clerk call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier. You need to bring the print of the SBI Clerk Admit card along with a copy of valid identity proof.
