Educational Criteria

Before applying for the SBI Clerk 2022,  ensure that you are a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or any Central University. SBI Junior Associates (Clerk)
  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.
  • Candidates having an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before August 16, 2021
  • Those who are in the final year/ semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before August 16, 2021.

Note: Those who are in the final year of their Graduation can also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before the date mentioned.

Age Criteria 

SBI has specified a certain age limit for the SBI Clerk 2022 exam. To appear in the SBI Clerk exam, you should not be below 20 years and not above 28 years. For further details on SBI Clerk 2022 age limit, refer to the table below.

SBI Junior Associates (Clerk)
  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years (i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than April 02, 1993, and not later than April 01, 2001 (both days inclusive)

Age Relaxation

You need to follow the above-mentioned SBI Clerk age criteria, except if you belong to any of the reserved categories. If you belong to reserved categories you will be eligible for relaxation in age. The details of age relaxation in the SBI Clerk 2022 recruitment is mentioned in the table below.

Yes, if you are released/retired from Armed Forces, you are eligible to apply and need to submit a certificate as per the format bank will ask to do.
If you are still serving in Armed Forces and desirous of applying, you can apply under the Ex-Servicemen category. Also, you need to submit a certificate from the competent authority mentioning your date of completion for the specific period of engagement.
If you belong to the OBC category but come under ‘’CREAMY LAYER’’, You are not entitled for any relaxation. You should indicate your category as General.
