RBI Office Attendant Exam Pattern 2021 - 2022

RBI conducts recruitment for the post of Office Attendant regularly. RBI Office Attendant exam is conducted through online mode which has two stages. All stages of the examination are mandatory.

  • Stage 1- Online Test (Written)
  • Stage 2- Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

RBI Office Attendant Exam Pattern 2021 - 2022 (Online Examination)

Online Test of RBI Office Attendant is an online objective examination with 120 multiple choice questions. It will have four sections - General English, Reasoning, General Awareness & Numerical Ability. There is no sectional timing in this exam. A composite time of 90 minutes will be allotted and you have to secure minimum marks in each section as decided by the bank.

  • ¼ or 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer marked.

RBI Office Attendant Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

After you qualify the online test, you have to take the Language Proficiency Test (LPT) conducted by the bank in which your proficiency in the concerned state language will be tested. RBI Office Attendant Salary 2021 - 2022

A candidate who gets appointed as an RBI Office Attendant in the Reserve Bank of India will draw a basic salary of 10,940 rupees. The pay scale of the RBI Office Attendant salary is 10940 – 380 (4) – 12460 – 440 (3) – 13780 – 520 (3) – 15340 – 690 (2) – 16720 – 860 (4) – 20160 – 1180 (1) – 23700. In addition to this, RBI Office Attendant is also entitled to receive additional benefits such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Grade Allowance and other allowances. At present, RBI Office attendant salary in hand is 26,508/-. Also, 15% of the salary will be given to an RBI Office Attendant if he doesn’t stay in the accommodation provided by RBI.

While applying for the RBI Office Attendant Exam, you should first ensure that you possess the required educational qualifications in order to appear for the exam. RBI has mentioned a particular educational criteria in the official notification. You should have passed your 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT. You should be an undergraduate as on February 01, 2022. Please note that a candidate who has a graduate or higher degree is not eligible to apply.

  • A candidate should have passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT coming under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruiting Office to which he/she is applying. Such qualification should be from a recognized board of that State/UT.
  • The candidate should be an undergraduate as on the 1/02/2021. Graduates and candidates possessing higher qualification are not eligible to apply.
  • A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category should have passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) and rendered at least 15 years of defence service, provided they have not graduated outside the Armed Forces.
  • Candidates applying to a recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/UT falling under that office.
