RBI Office Attendant Notification 2020 - 2021

RBI Office attendant Recruitment notification has been released on February 24, 2021 by RBI officially. A total of 841 vacancies have been announced to recruit office attendants for the panel year 2020. Interested candidates should apply for it as soon as possible. The application window will close on March 15, 2021 and the exam for the same is going to be held from April 09, 2021 to April 10, 2021.

RBI Office Attendant Exam Pattern 2020 - 2021

RBI conducts recruitment for the post of Office Attendant regularly. RBI Office Attendant exam is conducted through online mode which has two stages. All stages of the examination are mandatory.

  • Stage 1- Online Test (Written)
  • Stage 2- Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

RBI Office Attendant Exam Pattern 2020 - 2021 (Online Examination)

Online Test of RBI Office Attendant is an online objective examination with 120 multiple choice questions. It will have four sections - General English, Reasoning, General Awareness & Numerical Ability. There is no sectional timing in this exam. A composite time of 90 minutes will be allotted and you have to secure minimum marks in each section as decided by the bank.

RBI Office Attendant Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

After you qualify the online test, you have to take the Language Proficiency Test (LPT) conducted by the bank in which your proficiency in the concerned state language will be tested. RBI Office Attendant Salary 2020 - 2021

A candidate who gets appointed as an RBI Office Attendant in the Reserve Bank of India will draw a basic salary of 10,940 rupees. The pay scale of the RBI Office Attendant salary is 10940 – 380 (4) – 12460 – 440 (3) – 13780 – 520 (3) – 15340 – 690 (2) – 16720 – 860 (4) – 20160 – 1180 (1) – 23700. In addition to this, RBI Office Attendant is also entitled to receive additional benefits such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Grade Allowance and other allowances. At present, RBI Office attendant salary in hand is 26,508/-. Also, 15% of the salary will be given to an RBI Office Attendant if he doesn’t stay in the accommodation provided by RBI.

While applying for the RBI Office Attendant Exam, you should first ensure that you possess the required educational qualifications in order to appear for the exam. RBI has mentioned a particular educational criteria in the official notification. You should have passed your 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT.   • A candidate should have passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT coming under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruiting Office to which he/she is applying. Such qualification should be from a recognized board of that State/UT.
  • The candidate should be an undergraduate as on the 1/02/2021. Graduates and candidates possessing higher qualification are not eligible to apply.
  • A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category should have passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) and rendered at least 15 years of defence service, provided they have not graduated outside the Armed Forces.
  • Candidates applying to a recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/UT falling under that office.

The notification for RBI Office Attendant 2020 - 2021 has been released and interested candidates can apply online as the link is active. The application window for RBI Office Attendant closes on March 15, 2021. The application process is divided into a few simple steps provided below.

  • Visit the official website of the Reserve Bank of India and click on the “Apply Online” link
  • To start the registration, you need to click on “Click here for Registration’’ where you will have to enter all the basic details like name, contact, email id
  • A provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system. Keep that for future use
  • You will have to upload your scanned photograph, signature and handwritten declaration according to the specifications mentioned by the RBI
    • The size of the scanned photograph must lie between 20KB and 50KB
    • For the Signature, the size must lie between 10KB and 50KB
  • Click on the “Submit” button after making sure that you have entered all the correct details

After all the details are uploaded, you need to pay the application fee. The candidates will have to pay the online application fee after the application form has been filled. You can make the payment through any of the online options provided. The fee amount will be different for different categories.
