RBI Assistant Exam Pattern 2021

Phase 1 (Prelims) Exam Pattern 2021
The RBI Assistant preliminary online exam duration is 1 hr. There are 3 sections consisting of 100 questions and of 100 marks. Candidates must clear the sectional cut-off to qualify for the Mains exam. The section-wise details are given below:

- The above online test/s except for the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
- Candidates will have to pass each of the objective tests of the online examinations.
- A candidate has to qualify in Preliminary Examination for appearing in Main Examination.
- There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests (Preliminary and Main examination).1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Phase 2 (Mains) Exam Pattern 2021
The RBI Assistant Mains online exam duration is 135 minutes. There are five sections consisting of 200 questions and of 200 marks. There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked by the candidate. 1/4th of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The section-wise details are given below:

Language Proficiency Test (LPT) - The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the main online examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned as detailed below). Candidates not proficient in the Official / Local Language shall be disqualified.
