RBI Assistant Exam 2019 is one of the best opportunity to work for India’s central bank. RBI Assistant is a clerical (non-managerial) position with an opportunity to get promotion to officer grades.

 

RBI Assistant Exam Notification

The Reserve Bank of India invites applications from eligible candidates for posts of “Assistant” in various offices of the Bank. Selection for the post will be through a country-wide competitive Examination in two phases i.e. Preliminary and Main examination followed by an Interview. Applications are accepted only Online through the Bank’s website: www.rbi.org.in. Notification for the RBI Assistant 2017 has been released.

RBI hierarchy is as below:

RBI Assistant Additional Information

No. of Vacancies for RBI Assistant 2019:In 2017, The Reserve Bank of India has invited applications from eligible candidates for 623 posts of 'Assistant' in various offices of the Bank.We were expecting the RBI would release notification for 2018 but it did not. However we are expecting RBI will surely release notification in 2019. We will update it for 2019 once RBI rolls out vacancies.

Selection for the post will be through a country-wide competitive examination in two phases i.e. Preliminary and Main examination followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

RBI Assistant Exam Pattern

The RBI Assistant exam occurs in two stages: Prelims and Mains.

RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination

The preliminary exam of RBI Assistant is an online exam conducted by RBI for choosing suitable candidates. There are three sections in total. To qualify the exam candidate must clear the cut off of each section. The time duration is 1 hour and composite marks of the paper is 100

RBI Assistant Mains Examination

The main exam of RBI Assistant had 200 objective questions divided into five sections, to be answered in 02 hours.The Mains paper has only Five sections that is Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitud, General Awareness, Computer Ability and English Language A similar Exam Pattern for RBI Assistant 2019 is expected as mentioned in the table below. Any change in the exam pattern will be updated after the release of official notification.

The total time duration is 120 Minutes and the number of questions asked in Mains Examination is 200

RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for RBI Assistant 2019, it is important to check your eligibility wrt Educational Qualification, Age, any other pre requisites.

• Age Limit (As on 01.08.2019): The candidate must be 20 Years to 28 Years.

• Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination

Before Applying, An aspirant should meet various eligibility criteria wrt to Educational Qualification, Age, Nationality, No. of attempts permissible etc.

RBI Assistant Exam Syllabus

The syllabus for Online Exam PRE and Mains for RBI Assistant is same in Reasoning, Numerical Ability and English Language. In addition to these two, the other subjects in Mains Exam are General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. Therefore the PRE exam include three subjects and Mains exam Include Five Subjects

RBI Assistant 2018-19 Salary

Reserve Bank of India Salary for the Structure for Assistant is Rs. 14650/- per month including all perks and allowances. The salary of RBI initial Gross emoluments for RBI Assistance at present stands at approximately Rs. 32520/- including House Rent Allowance @ of 15%

RBI Assistant Previous Year Cut Off
