The RBI Assistant preliminary online exam duration is of 1 hr. There are 3 sections consisting of 100 questions and of 100 marks. Candidates must clear the sectional cut-off to qualify for the RBI Assistant Main exam. The section-wise details are given below:

- The above online test/s except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
- Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests of the online examinations.
- A candidate has to qualify in Preliminary Examination for appearing in Main Examination.
- There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests (Preliminary and Main examination).1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
RBI Assistant Phase 2 (Mains) Exam Pattern 2021
The RBI Assistant mains online exam duration is 135 minutes. There are five sections consisting of 200 questions and of 200 marks. There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked by the candidate. 1/4th of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The section-wise details are given below:

Language Proficiency Test (LPT) - The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the main on-line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). A candidate who is willing to apply for RBI Assistant 2021 needs to possess a minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government with at least 50% marks. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD are exempted from the percentile criteria. They just need to be graduate with no minimum percentage. Apart from the eligibility criteria that a candidate needs to follow while applying for RBI Assistant exam 2021, he/she also needs to follow age criteria.
