RBI Grade B DSIM Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2026
RBI Grade B DSIM recruitment will take place in three stages-
- Phase I- Paper 1- Objective-type questions on Statistics
- Phase II - Paper 2 and 3 - Descriptive type
- Interview
The RBI DSIM Paper 1 is an objective-type online exam where questions will be based on Statistics. A composite time of 120 minutes is given to answer Paper I. The maximum marks are 100. The questions will be set in English and Hindi.
If you clear RBI Grade B DSIM Phase 1, you will be called for RBI Grade B DSIM Phase 2 - Paper 2 and Paper 3. Further information can be deduced from the table below:

RBI DSIM Paper 2 and Paper 3 examinations are conducted in shifts. You are required to appear for all the shifts. RBI DSIM Paper 2 is of a descriptive type (on Statistics).
Here, questions are displayed on the computer and you need to write answers on paper. It comprises 100 marks with a composite time of 180 minutes. Paper 3 will be an English descriptive paper to be typed with the help of a keyboard. Further information can be deduced from the table below:

NOTE- Answers for Paper 2 can be written either in Hindi or English while Paper 3 needs to be answered in English only.
RBI DSIM's final stage is the RBI Grade B DSIM Interview. The interview will be 75 marks, and you can opt for the interview either in Hindi or English. The final selection will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the Online/Written Exam (Paper 1, 2 and 3) and Interview.
Furthermore, candidates will have to appear for a Personality Assessment conducted by the Bank before appearing for the Interview. However, no marks are allotted for the Personality Assessment, and will not form a part of the final selection.
