RBI Grade B DSIM Notification 2022 has been released and we have RBI Grade B exam date 2022 with us. According to the official notification, RBI Grade B DSIM Prelims 2022 will be held on July 02, 2022. RBI Grade B Mains is said to be scheduled for August 06, 022 (tentative). 

RBI released the admit cards for RBI Grade B DR (DSIM) 2022 on May 30, 2022. The call letters can be downloaded from May 30 - July 02, 2022. An Information Handout has also been released by RBI which can be referred to by the candidates for all exam-related instructions and guidelines.

Among 23 departments of RBI, DSIM is one of the departments that work on following two principles.

RBI Grade B DSIM Exam Pattern

RBI Grade B DSIM recruitment will take place in three stages-

  • Phase I- Paper 1- Objective type questions on Statistics
  • Phase II - Paper 2 and 3 - Descriptive type
  • Interview

RBI DSIM Paper 1 is an objective type online exam where questions will be based on Statistics. A composite time of 120 minutes is given to answer Paper I. The maximum marks are 100. If you clear RBI Grade B DSIM Phase 1, you will be called for RBI Grade B DSIM Phase 2 - Paper 2 and Paper 3. Further information can be deduced from the table below:

RBI Grade B DSIM Paper 2 and Paper 3 examinations are conducted in shifts. You are required to appear for all the shifts. RBI DSIM Paper 2 is of descriptive type (on Statistics). Here questions are displayed on the computer and you need to write answers on paper. It comprises 100 marks with a composite time of 180 minutes. Paper 3 will be of an English descriptive paper to be typed with the help of a keyboard. Further information can be deduced from the table below:

NOTE- Answers for Paper 2 can be written either in Hindi or English while Paper 3 needs to be answered in English only.

RBI Grade B DSIM final stage is an interview. The interview will be 75 marks and you can opt for an interview either in Hindi or English.

RBI Grade B DSIM Eligibility Criteria

You are required to ensure that you are eligible for the RBI Grade B DSIM Exam. Failing to fulfil the RBI Grade B DSIM eligibility criteria will lead to the cancellation of your candidature. You must possess a Master's Degree in Statistics / Mathematical Economics / Mathematical Statistics / Statistics & Informatics / Econometrics or Applied Statistics & Informatics with at least 55% marks in aggregate of all semester/years or an equivalent grade.     • • M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters / years; OR
    • • Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.
  • Desirable
    • • (i) Candidates with a Doctorate in topics related to above subjects will be given preference. (ii) Research or teaching experience and publication in standard journals will be considered as an additional qualification.
Note: For SC, ST and PwBD candidates, the minimum marks required in Master’s Degree 50% or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years.
  • Note: Candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D qualification in the specified subjects will be eligible for relaxation in upper age limit by 2 years and 4 years respectively.
  • Candidates with research / teaching experience at a recognized Indian / Foreign University/Institute will be eligible for relaxation in upper age limit to the extent of number of years of such experience subject to a maximum of three years. For experience, probationary period will not be reckoned.

If you pursue your masters in the above-mentioned fields from IGNOU or from an Open Learning education system, then also you are eligible for RBI Grade B DSIM Officer.

Also, RBI Grade B DSIM age criteria are predefined to appear for the recruitment exam. You are required to be aged between 21 years and 30 years as on the date mentioned in the official notification.
