Downloading the Phase 1 Admit Card
Once the exam schedule is published and your application is submitted successfully, you’ll be able to download your RBI Grade B Phase 1 Admit Card.
To access it, you’ll need:
- Your registration number or roll number
- Your password or date of birth
- These details are created during the application process. Save them safely, as they’ll be required throughout the recruitment cycle.

Expected Exam Schedule & Admit Card Release
According to previous trends, the Phase 1 online examination for the General, DEPR, and DSIM streams is likely to be held in the first half of September.
The admit cards will be made available on the RBI’s official website approximately two weeks before the exam.
Keep in mind:
- You will receive an email notification at your registered email ID
- Separate admit cards will be released for each phase—Prelims, Mains, and Interview

RBI Grade B Admit Card – Last Year’s Reference
Last year’s exam was conducted as follows:
- Phase 1 exam for the General stream: September 8
- Phase 1 exam for the DEPR and DSIM streams: September 14
- In both cases, the admit cards were made available around two weeks before the exams.
- This timeline is expected to be similar for the 2025 cycle as well. Use this time wisely to sharpen your preparation and focus on practice.
Where to Download the Admit Card
Once the exam dates for 2025 are announced, a direct download link for the admit card will be activated on the official RBI website.
Separate links will be provided for:
- Phase 1 Admit Card (Prelims)
- Phase 2 Admit Card (Mains)
If you are currently preparing for Mains after completing Prelims, make sure you are ready to download the Phase 2 admit card once it becomes available.

How to download RBI Grade B Mains Admit Card ?
To download the RBI Grade B admit card for the current exam cycle, you have to follow the steps provided below.
- Visit the official website of the Reserve Bank of India
- Click on the “Opportunities at RBI” option
- After that, click on the current vacancies tab appearing at the top and then click on the “Call Letters” link
- You will be redirected to a new page, you have to click on “Recruitment for the Post of Grade B Officers- Phase 2Online Exam Call letter and Information Handout”
- Enter your Roll Number and Password with the captcha provided on the screen and then click on the "SUBMIT" button
- Your RBI Grade B admit card will be displayed on the screen. In the admit card, the Exam venue, Date, shift, and time will be mentioned. You have to print the RBI Grade B admit card and bring it to the examination venue on the day of the examination
Please note that no hard copy of the admit card will be sent via post to the candidates.
Details on RBI Grade B Mains Admit Card
In the upcoming RBI Grade B Mains admit card for the current exam cycle, the following details will be mentioned. This information is based on the current RBI Grade B notification. In case any of these details are missing or incorrect in the actual call letter, it is advisable to write to RBI through their helpdesk for clarification:
- Examination name
- Candidate’s name
- Roll Number and Registration Number
- Username and Password
- Examination Centre
- Exam date and time slot
- Reporting time
- Candidate’s clear Photograph
- Signature of the candidate
- Candidate's and Invigilator’s signature section

RBI Grade B Mains admit card
- Passport size photograph (to affix on admit card)- Keep 2 photograph
- Photo ID proof: You can bring the following ID as the photo ID proof to the exam centre
- Aadhar card
- PAN Card
- Passport
- Permanent Driving License
- Voter’s Card
- Bank Passbook with a photograph
- Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead
- Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead
- Valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized college/ university / Employee ID/ Bar Council Identity card with photograph.
Please note that the Ration card & Learners Driving License will not be considered valid Identity proof
RBI Grade B Mains Exam Centre
The details of your RBI Grade B Mains exam centre will be clearly mentioned on your Mains Admit Card. This includes:
- The name and address of the exam centre
- The exam date
- The reporting time
- Your exam centre is assigned based on the preferences you select while filling out the RBI Grade B application form.
- That’s why it’s important to be careful and thoughtful while choosing your exam centre preferences. You will be asked to select two centres for the Mains exam.
- To avoid long travel or confusion on the exam day, try to choose centres that are close to your current location or easy for you to reach.
