Kendriya Vidyalaya Exam Notification 2021

Kendriya Vidyalaya will release the notification to fill various posts across India, though the exact number of vacancies available in the respective school will be announced by the Management /School later. The KVS notification will have all the details like the opening and closing date of registration, exam date, eligibility details and other minute details that are important and should not be missed out. You must start preparing now to remain ahead of others in the race.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Exam pattern 2021

Kendriya Vidyalaya exam consists of two phases - online objective type test and Interview The KVS exam will be of online mode with objective questions and consists of two parts. The first part consists of General English, General Hindi, General Knowledge and Current Affairs and part two consists of Computer literacy, the subject concerned and Pedagogy. The total marks allotted is 150 for 150 questions. The language of questions will be bilingual ie both Hindi and English and you are allowed to choose in which format you want the question to appear. Except for the General Hindi section, where the questions will be in the Hindi Language, the other section will be bilingual.

    • Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)* OR
    • Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education(B.Ed)*
  • Should pass Central Teacher Eligibility Test Paper-1 conducted by CBSE.
  • Competence to teach through Hindi & English medium.
  • Desirable Qualifications: - Knowledge of Computer application.

*Who has acquired the qualification of Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in class I-V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE within two years of such appointment as Primary Teacher.

Kendriya Vidyalaya 2021:How To Apply Online

Though the official notification is not yet announced but you should be aware of the procedure to be followed while applying online so that no problem arises at a later stage. The  Kendriya Vidyalaya application can only be filled online. You need to follow certain basic steps to complete your KVS application form. The details are mentioned below.

  • You should apply Online through the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan website No other means/mode of application will be accepted
  • You are required to have a valid personal email ID and mobile number
  • Carefully fill in the complete details in the online application form
  • Scan and upload your recent photograph, signature and thumb impression  
  • Login id and password would be generated on successful submission of the application and will be displayed on the screen 
  • Pay the application fee and remember fee once deposited shall not be refunded under any circumstances
  • The examination fee has to be paid online through the prescribed link at the online application form
  • Take a printout of the online application

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admit Card 2021

You can download your admit card from the official website by entering your Registration / Roll Number and Password/Date Of Birth that will be provided once the online application has been filled and dates have been announced.
