LIC AAO Exam Pattern 2020
LIC AAO (Assistant Administrative Officer) notification 2020 for various posts is released. The LIC AAO Prelims exam 2020 will be an online test consisting of three sections - English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude respectively, not in any fixed order. LIC AAO Mains Exam Pattern 2020
Once the LIC AAO Prelims examination is over, the candidates who are able to qualify it will have to appear in the LIC AAO Mains examination. The LIC AAO Mains Exam will held once the result of Phase 1 is out. The LIC AAO Mains exam pattern for all types of posts is mostly similar except a few changes in the number of subjects. LIC AAO Salary 2020
A LIC Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) is entitled to receive a basic pay of Rs. 32795/- per month in the scale of Rs. 32795- 1610(14) –55335– 1745(4) –62315 and other admissible allowances as per rules. An AAO is eligible for certain emoluments also, inclusive of House Rent Allowance (HRA) & City Compensatory Allowance (CCA) wherever admissible depending upon the classification of the city, which will amount to approximately Rs 57,000/- per month in ‘A’ Class city. Other benefits are Defined Contributory Pension, Special Allowance for passing Actuarial Examination, Gratuity, LTC, Cash Medical Benefit, Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Group Insurance , Vehicle Loan (2-wheeler/4 wheeler) as per rules, meal coupon, reimbursement towards cost of Briefcase leather bags, mobile handset, supply of dailies and magazines and tea/coffee, mobile expenses, etc. as per rules.

LIC AAO Job Profile
Once you qualify all the stages of the LIC AAO Examination and get selected as an Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO), you would be given a department / branch according to your category of post. You will be heading / managing that particular department. LIC AAO is mainly an administrative job, as the title of the post suggests. We can put the job responsibilities of an AAO in few steps as follows:
- Negotiations will have to be done with the Agents/ Development Officers.
- Client interaction and inspection of the claims made by them.

LIC AAO Exam Language
The LIC Assistant exam will be bilingual in nature i.e. in each section questions will be asked in English and Hindi both. LIC AAO Examination 2020: How to Apply Online
All the eligible candidates are expected to apply for their respective category of posts according to the eligibility. The candidates are expected to fill in the complete details in the LIC AAO online application form and without completing the application procedure, the candidates will not be permitted to appear in the LIC AAO examination. The step-by-step procedure is as follows:
Candidates should keep the following documents ready before applying online for LIC AAO:
- Scanned photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm)
- Signature (with black ink)
- left thumb impression (on white paper with black or blue ink)
- a hand-written declaration (on a white paper with black ink) with the text mentioned in the official notification.
Once you have all the required documents, start the LIC AAO application process:
- Go to the official website of LIC: www.licindia.in and click on the click on the ‘Careers’ to open the link “ Recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officer 2020”. It redirects the candidates to the online registration page. To register the application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id.
- A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent. Click on Save & Next button to move forward.
- You will now be redirected to the next page of the form where you will be asked to upload your scanned passport size photograph and signature based on the specification mentioned therein and click on the next button.
- After you move on to the next page, you will have to fill in your personal details including your educational qualifications.
- After you are finished with entering the details, the preview of your form will be shown, so that if you find any error, you may edit and correct it. Once the application is submitted, you will not be able to edit it.
- At the end, you will have to choose a preferable online payment method to submit the LIC AAO application fee. You can pay the LIC AAO fees through credit card / debit card / net banking etc.
- Click on the 'Submit' button to complete the application.
While applying online, candidates should keep in mind a few important points:
- Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
- The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not smudged. (If a candidate is not having left thumb, he/she may use his/ her right thumb for applying.)
- The hand-written declaration has to be in the candidate’s handwriting and in English only. If it is written and uploaded by anybody else or in any other language, the LIC AAO application will be considered as invalid.
- Have a valid personal email ID and mobile no., which should be kept active till the completion of the LIC AAO Recruitment Process. LIC may send intimation to download call letters for the LIC AAO Examination etc. through the registered email ID.
LIC AAO Application Fee
Once a candidate is done with filling all the required details for LIC AAO 2020 and uploaded all documents required, the last stage is to submit the online LIC AAO application fee. As the LIC AAO examination and application both are in online mode, therefore the payment mode will also be online and you will have to choose from the given online payment options. LIC AAO Exam Centre
Every year LIC allots various exam centres in different cities for the candidates where the LIC AAO online examination will be conducted.
