LIC AAO Exam Pattern 2024
LIC AAO notification 2024 for the Generalist posts is out on the official website. LIC provides great opportunities for career growth and thus the examination for LIC AAO 2024 cannot be taken lightly. The LIC AAO exam pattern 2024 for the Generalist post is as follows-
- Phase 1- Preliminary Exam
- Phase 2- Mains Exam
- Phase 3- Interview
LIC AAO Prelims Exam Pattern
The LIC AAO Prelims exam 2024 will be an online test consisting of three sections. All three sections in the LIC AAO Prelims exam are allotted separate sectional timings. The LIC AAO Prelims exam pattern is provided below.

LIC AAO Mains Exam Pattern
The LIC AAO Mains exam pattern consists of four sections. Apart from this objective test, the LIC AAO Mains Exam pattern will also consist of a ‘Descriptive Test’ which tests the English writing skills of the candidate. The details of the LIC AAO Mains exam pattern are as follows-

Personal Interview
The candidates who will qualify for the LIC AAO Mains exam will be called for the LIC AAO Phase 3, i.e. Personal Interview (PI), where they can be asked questions from any subject/area. A candidate should be ready to face any type of question in the LIC AAO Interview. The LIC AAO Interview carries a total of 60 marks.
Exam Language
The LIC AAO exam will be bilingual in nature i.e. in each section questions will be asked in English as well as Hindi. You can attempt the whole paper in whichever language you want or switch to any language in between for that particular section. However, the English Language section will be in English only.
Marking Scheme
As per the LIC AAO 2024 notification, there is no information about the negative marking for incorrect answers in the LIC AAO exam.
