The MAT exam 2024 notification was released recently. The Management Aptitude Test (MAT), organized by AIMA, is scheduled four times annually, typically in February, May, September, and December. How to Apply Online for the MAT Exam 2024?
All the candidates interested in applying for MAT 2024 (Feb) Entrance should be aware of the complete application process. If you fail to apply correctly, you will not be able to appear for the examination. The application will have to be done online. You also need to fill in all the correct details in the application form. There are some simple steps for the same:
- Create your login first by visiting the AIMA website mat.aima.in
- Login using your email, password & date of birth. After entering all the details you will have to click on “submit”.
- You will be directed to the registration form and there you need to fill in all your details along with your choice of Management Colleges.
- The next step would be to upload your photograph & signature.
- The scanned photograph should be in jpeg /jpg format with size within 10 KB - 50 KB.
- The signature should also be in pg/jpeg within the size of 5 KB - 20 KB.
- Submit the online application fee through one of the online payment options given there.
- View your final registration form and you can download and keep the copy with you or take a print of the same.

MAT Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2024
The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA offers candidates the flexibility to choose between online and offline modes. - There will be a total of 200 objective-type questions from five sections: Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, and Indian and Global Environment.
- Each section will have 40 questions.
- The total timing of the test will be 2 hours & 30 minutes (150 minutes).
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
- The obtained scores in the section of the Indian & Global Environment will not be taken into account to calculate the merit or percentile score in the MAT scorecard.

AIMA conducts the Management Aptitude Test four times in a year. The next MAT Entrance is scheduled to be held in September. There will be two tests: Paper-Based & Computer-Based. Both the exams will be held on two different days and in different cities. AIMAwill allot different exam centres in various states & cities. All the candidates will have to reach to their allotted centres at their own risk & expenses.
