For Graduate-level NTPC posts, the normalized marks obtained in the 2nd Stage CBT will be used for shortlisting candidates for Document Verification and other applicable stages. For posts requiring a Computer-Based Aptitude Test, the normalized CBT-2 marks will be used to shortlist candidates for the applicable test.

The Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) will be conducted for posts for which it is prescribed, such as Station Master and Traffic Assistant, for candidates who qualify the 2nd Stage CBT and meet the prescribed conditions. Candidates appearing for the CBAT must secure a minimum T-Score of 42 marks in each test battery to qualify. There is no relaxation in the prescribed minimum T-Score.
