SSC Selection Post Exam Pattern 2021

SSC Selection Post 2021 written exam will be a CBT ie Computer Based Test. It is very important to understand the exam pattern before starting the preparation because it helps you to create your strategy according to the exam and also gives you an idea about the subjects that are involved in it. In the SSC Selection Post Exam pattern four subjects are there which holds same weightage. The exam pattern can be deduced from the table below.

 The SSC Selection Post exam is held in following phases:

For each wrong answer 0.50 marks will be deducted. After qualifying written examination you will be called for Document Verification based on the vacancies available. The selection will be based on:

  • In the ratio of 1:20 for up to 5 vacancies available for the post
  • In the ratio of 1:10 for more than 5 vacancies for any category of posts subject to minimum 100.
You need to appear only once in the SSC exam for one level of post, otherwise, your candidature will be cancelled. If you have applied for two levels of posts for e.g. Matriculation and Higher Secondary(10+2), you need to appear once for each level of examination. You need to score a minimum cut off of  35% if you belong to General Category and 30% if OBC/ EWS. For other categories you need to score a minimum cut off of 25% to be eligible for next stage.

SSC Selection Post  2021: How To Apply Online

You can apply for the SSC Selection post 2021 by visiting the official website: www.ssc.nic.in and then go to the apply for selection post section where you can fill all the required details. The procedure is explained below.

    • Visit the official website of SSC i.e. www.ssc.nic.in 

    • Register Yourself if you are applying for the first time by entering all the details asked like email id, contact number, name and other details.

    • A Registration Number password  will be generated and will be sent to you in your registered mobile and email. 

    • Change your password when you first login in and login again using your Registration Number and changed password.

    • Click on apply link in Phase-VIII/2021/selection posts examination.

    • Fill all the other details asked and click on submit button. Proceed to payment of SSC Selection post 2021 application fee. You can pay with either online or offline mode. If you are a female or if you belong to SC/ST category, you are exempted from application fee whereas if you belong to unreserved category and OBC category, you need to pay a fee of Rs 100.

    • Make sure that all the mentioned documents should be uploaded in the prescribed format and size as mentioned below-

    • Your Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing the Matriculation (10th) Exam.

    • Scanned colour passport size photograph in JPEG format of dimension between 20 KB to 50 KB. 

    • Scanned signature in JPEG format with dimension ranging between 10KB to 20 KB. For VH candidate, thumb impression is allowed.

    • Disability Certificate Number, if you fall under benchmark disability.

    • Take out the print of the application form and receipt for future use.
