The Government of India invited applications from eligible Indian citizens for various posts in the Ministry of Defence (MoD). The candidates applied for the following posts: Civilian Technical Instructor, Stenographer Grade-II, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Draughtsman Grade III, Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade), MTS (Chowkidar), MTS (Messenger) & Fatigueman. Notification

The notification for various posts has been released by the Government of India, Ministry of Defence. The notification came out on July 03, 2021. The vacancies have been announced for various posts such as Civilian Technical Instructor, Stenographer Grade-II, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Draughtsman Grade III, Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade), MTS (Chowkidar), MTS (Messenger) & Fatigueman. The application process for the same ended on July 24, 2021. The exam dates have not been announced yet. The application process was offline and the application forms duly filled along with the self attested copies of all the required documents were to be sent via Registered / Speed post.

Exam Dates

The Ministry of Defence announced vacancies for various posts to be filled in the Indian Army. It is a matter of pride to serve the country being in the Indian Army, irrespective of whichever post that you are in. The notification came out on July 03, 2021. The application process has been completed already. You should actively keep checking for the latest updates. The selection process will have various phases, the dates for which have still not been announced.

Exam Pattern

The selection process for all the posts mentioned in the notification released by the Ministry of Defence will be conducted in a proper manner in various phases or tiers. The posts of Civilian Technical Instructor, Stenographer Grade-II, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Draughtsman Grade III, Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade), MTS (Chowkidar), MTS (Messenger) & Fatigueman have been announced. For all the posts a two-tier selection process will be conducted with Tier 1 (Written Test) & Tier 2 (Descriptive & Typing Test).

Syllabus

The Ministry of Defence recruitment is one of the most important ones. The recruitments are supposed to be done for the Indian Army. Being a government job, the notification holds utmost importance. There are 8 posts in all for which the vacancies have been announced. For whichever post you have applied, an important aspect is preparing well. Eligibility Criteria

An important aspect of any exam process is its application process which needs to be completed duly in time. Stenography Grade II
  • 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or university.
  • Skill Test Norms- Dictation :10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m. Transcation-50 minutes(English) (on computer),65 minutes (Hindi)(on computer)
Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
  • 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or university.
  • Typing speed (computer)-@ 35 w.p.m in English on computer or a typing speed of 30 w.p.m in hindi on computer (35 w.p.m and 30 w.p.m correspond to 10500/9000 key depression per hour on an average of 5 key depression for each word).
Draughtsman Grade III
  • Matric or equivalent from recognised board.
  • Diploma /certificate in Draughtsmanship.
  • Some experience in map /chart drawing.
Civillian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade)
  • Matric or equivalent from recognised board.
  • Must posses the civilian Driving licence for heavy vehicles and have two years experience of driving such vehicles.
MTS (Chowkidar)
  • Matric pass or equivalent from recognised board.
  • Must be conversant with the duties of the respective trade with one year experience in the trade.
MTS (Messenger)
  • Matric pass or equivalent from recognised board.
  • Must be conversant with the duties of the respective trade with one year experience in the trade.
Fatigueman
