Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board also known as DSSSB was formed on 50th Indian Independence by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi to recruit capable, competent, highly skilled individuals. DSSSB TGT Recruitment Notification 2024
Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board or DSSSB notification for various posts has been announced recently. For TGT posts, DSSSB has released the notification on October 14, 2022, for 528 vacancies. Along with the TGT vacancies, DSSSB has also released 100 vacancies for the post of Librarian and 04 vacanicies for the post of Assistant Teacher (Nursery)
The application window for all the posts will open from October 19, 2022 and close on November 18, 2022. If you are interested in applying for any of the posts and also possess the required qualifications, you apply once the online application link is active. It is advised to fill in the DSSSB online form 2024 as early as possible to avoid the last-minute rush.
DSSSB TGT Recruitment 2024: How to Apply Online
DSSSB will open the DSSSB Application window from October 19, 2022. Filling the DSSSB online form 2022 is one of the most important parts of the exam. It is advised to carefully fill the application process. Please note that you can apply for the exam till November 18, 2022. Therefore, It is advised to apply for the exam in between these dates. Follow these some simple steps to fill the DSSSB TGT form 2022.
- Visit the official website of DSSSB i.e. https://dsssb.delhi.gov.in/ and click for ‘New Registration’.
- A provisional registration number and password will be generated. Save the details for further reference.
- Move to the next step and fill up all the required details in the application form.
- Upload the required documents (Photograph, signature, and other required documents) after scanning them properly and follow the mentioned specifications.
- After this you will have to fill in all the details related to the qualifications & experience.
- Once all the details have been filled the last and final step will be fee payment.
- After the payment is done click on the Submit Button.

DSSSB TGT Recruitment Application Fee
After you submit the DSSSB TGT application form 2022, you need to pay the requisite fee. Your application will remain incomplete without the submission of the application fee. You can submit the application fee through SBI e-pay only. Please Note that Women candidates and reserved category candidates such as Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, P.W.D. and Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying the Application fee. The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Also, Ex-servicemen who have already secured employment in the Teacher civil side under Central Government on regular basis after availing of the benefits of reservation given to ex-servicemen for their re-employment are NOT eligible for fee concession.
DSSSB TGT Recruitment Exam Pattern 2024
Before you begin your DSSSB TGT exam preparation, it is imperative that you are aware of the DSSSB TGT exam pattern. DSSSB selection process 2024 will consist of 1 tier. The Examination questions will be bilingual (Hindi & English) except for the Language papers. The DSSSB TGT Selection Process is given below.
Tier 1- Online Written examination (Tier 1)

Candidates applying for TGT posts are required to undergo a written examination. DSSSB Exam Pattern (Tier 1) 2024 consists of two parts i.e. Section A and Section B. In Section A, sections like General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, General Awareness (history, culture, demography, geography & economy of Delhi, Administrative set up and Governance in NCT of Delhi, various schemes of Delhi Govt.), Hindi Language & Comprehension and English language & Comprehension will be asked. In Section B, questions concerned with your streams will be asked.

Marking Scheme
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer marked by the candidate.
- Also not that the mandatory minimum qualifying marks in Tier-1 examination is applicable only in Section B which is domain subject specific. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for Section A. However, the final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the aggregate marks of both Section A and Section B.

DSSSB TGT Recruitment Age Criteria 2024
You must not exceed the age of 30 years of age to apply for any TGT posts mentioned in DSSSB Recruitment. There is the provision of certain relaxation to candidates belonging to the reserved categories and of the teachers teaching in universities. Any candidate exceeding the age of 30 years (TGT) will not be allowed to appear in the DSSSB exam 2021.
Guest/Contract teachers:- Relaxation in upper age as a one-time measure up to the actual time spent as a contractual employee of the same department, subject to a maximum of 5 years provided they have worked for at least 120 working days in that particular year as per Services Department.

DSSSB TGT Recruitment Age Relaxation 2024
The government provides certain age relaxation for reserved categories candidates. The relaxation is applied to the upper age limit. Other than reserved category candidates, relaxation will be applied to Departmental candidates, Meritorious Sports Persons, Ex-Servicemen Group B & C (Non-Gazetted), Disabled Defence services personnel (Group “C”), and more.
