    UPSC EPFO APFC Notification 2025

    The UPSC issued Special Advertisement No. 52/2025 on 26 July 2025 and is filling 74 Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) posts in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation under the Ministry of Labour & Employment.

    Candidates can apply online from 29 July 2025 (12:00 Noon) until 18 August 2025 (11:59 PM). All applications must be submitted through the UPSC website: general information on www.upsc.gov.in, and the form is on https://upsconline.nic.in.

    To be eligible, you need a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institute. A Diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws, or Public Administration is desirable but not mandatory.

    UPSC APFC age limits are set at 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC, 40 years for SC, 35 years for ST, and 45 years for PwBD candidates. Selection will be by a pen-and-paper Combined Recruitment Test (CRT), shortlisting candidates for an interview.

    The EPFO APFC pay scale is Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix (₹56,100 – 1,77,500). This is a permanent, Group “A” post based at New Delhi headquarters.

    How to Apply for the UPSC EPFO APFC Exam 2025?

    The candidates who are willing to apply to the EPFO APFC exam will have to apply online for the same. Being an important notification, you should be careful while filling out the online application form so that you may not commit any error, in which case your candidature will be canceled.

    • After submitting the Online Recruitment Application (ORA), the candidates are required to take out a printout of the same

    UPSC EPFO APFC Application Fee

    Candidates must pay a ₹25 UPSC APFC application fee (for General, OBC & EWS) online by 18 August 2025; SC, ST, PwBD candidates and women are exempt. Payments can be made via SBI challan, net banking, UPI, or debit/credit card.

    Candidates who successfully submit their applications will be issued an e-Admit Card approximately three weeks before the date of the Recruitment Test. You can download it only from the UPSC online portal; no physical admit cards will be mailed to you. 

    To download your e-Admit Card:

    • Visit https://upsconline.nic.in and click on “e-Admit Card.”
    • Log in using your URN/Application Number and Date of Birth.
    • Verify all details—name, roll number, exam centre, date & time—and print multiple copies for safekeeping.

    Make sure to carry the printed EPFO APFC admit card along with a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving Licence, etc.) to the exam centre—no alternative proof will be accepted 

    UPSC EPFO APFC Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2025

Applicants must pass a pen-and-paper Recruitment Examination in order to be eligible for the UPSC EPFO selection procedure (RT).
