RBI Assistant Manager Rajbhasha Educational Criteria
Candidates must possess a second-class Master’s degree in Hindi or Hindi Translation, or a Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a subject, from a recognised university.
A postgraduate diploma in translation (Hindi to English and vice versa) awarded by a UGC-recognised institution is also accepted as an equivalent qualification.
Qualifications obtained through distance learning or correspondence are permissible provided the awarding university or institution is approved by the University Grants Commission.
A minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks (or equivalent grade) in the required Master’s degree or diploma is mandatory, with relaxation in line with Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
Degrees from foreign universities will be considered only if accompanied by an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities.

Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on February 01, 2026. Candidates must have been born not earlier than February 02, 1996 and not later than February 01, 2005. An age relaxation of two years is granted to candidates possessing a Ph.D. degree in Hindi, Hindi Translation or equivalent.

Candidates holding a Ph.D. in Hindi, Hindi Translation or an equivalent discipline will be granted an additional two years of relaxation in the upper age limit. RBI Assistant Manager Rajbhasha Salary
The RBI Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) post is placed in Pay Level 8 under the Grade A officer cadre. Selected candidates draw a starting basic pay of ₹62,500 per month in the pay scale of ₹62,500–3,600 (4)–₹76,900–4,050 (7)–₹1,05,250–EB–4,050 (4)–₹1,21,450–4,650 (1)–₹1,26,100, spanning 17 years.
