RBI Non-CSG Eligibility Criteria 2020 - 2021
Before applying to any exam, it's very important that you are aware of the complete eligibility criteria so that your candidature is not canceled at a later stage. There are certain eligibility criteria like educational qualification, age criteria, a nationality that you need to follow.
RBI Non-CSG Educational Criteria
As the RBI Non-CSG notification 2020 - 2021 is for various posts, so the educational qualification for each post varies. Besides this, you also should possess some experience as per the post you are applying for. Have a look at the detailed educational qualification and experience required as per each post.
Legal Officer: If you are applying for RBI Non-CSG Legal Officer- Grade B post you need to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law with a minimum of 50% marks. Proficiency in computer applications will be an added advantage. Also an experience of at least two years as an Advocate/ Legal Consultant, Law Officer in the Legal Department of any institution /corporation / Government or full-time teacher in a Law College/ University. |Legal Officer in Grade ‘B’||Bachelor’s Degree in Law from any University/College/Institution, recognized by UGC and the Bar Council of India with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years.||

Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha): If you are applying for RBI Non-CSG Assistant Manager- Rajbhasha you should possess a Second Class Master's Degree in Hindi / Hindi Translation / English / Sanskrit / Economics / Commerce with English or Hindi as Core / Elective / Major subject at your Bachelor's level. RBI Non-CSG Age Criteria
RBI invites applications from passionate candidates who want to make a career as a banker in India’s central bank- RBI. As the RBI Non-CSG recruitment is for different posts, so the age to be eligible for these posts varies. The minimum age to be eligible for RBI Non CSG recruitment is 21 years which goes up to a maximum of 40 years depending upon the post you are applying for. Also if you possess higher qualifications you are eligible for further relaxation in the upper age limit of that specified post. Details can be inferred from below.
|Legal Officer in Grade ‘B||A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years as on February 01, 2021 (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-02-1989 and not later than 01-02-2000)|
|Manager (Technical - Civil)||A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on February 01, 2021 (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-02-1986 and not later than 01-02-2000)|
|Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha)||A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on February 01, 2021 (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-02-1991 and not later than 01-02-2000)|
|Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security)||A candidate must have attained the age of 25 years and must not have attained the age of 40 years as on February 01, 2021 (no relaxation for any category). The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-02-1981 and not later than 01-02-1996|
RBI Non-CSG Age Relaxation
You are also eligible for upper age relaxation if you belong to SC/ST/PWD. This age relaxation also differs from one reserved category to another. Further details for age relaxation are given below in the table.

|Assistant manager (Rajbhasha)||
|Ex-employees of banking institutions whose services had to be terminated for reasons of economy or as a result of bank going into liquidation and personnel retrenched from Government Offices after at least one year's service and currently registered with Employment Exchange||5 years|
|Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers who have completed their initial period of assignment of five years of Military Service||5 years|
Educational Qualification for Manager (Technical- Civil) & Assistant Manager (Protocol and Security)
Manager (Technical- Civil): If you are applying for RBI Non CSG Manager ( Technical-Civil) you should be a Bachelor in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks. Also at least 3 years experience after graduation as an Assistant Engineer in a public / private organization, Specialization in Project Management ,Geotechnical Engineering,Structural Engineering, Public Health Engineering and Construction Management with knowledge of PERT/ CPM techniques and working knowledge of Computer in Structural Design in CAM/ CAD will benefit you in interview. |Manager (Technical - Civil)||A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years. Aggregate Grade Point or percentage of marks where awarded would mean aggregate over the entire duration of the course.||
||At least 3 years' experience after graduation (in a position of independent responsibility equivalent to that of an Assistant Engineer) in a public/private limited organization, including Hospitals/Banks/Financial Institutions/Planning/Designing/Construction/Large Office Buildings/ Multistoried Buildings/Housing Companies/residential campus based educational institutions and having experience in preparation and evaluation of tender papers.|
Assistant Manager (Protocol and Security): To be eligible for the RBI Non CSG Assistant Manager- Protocol and Security you should be an Officer with a minimum of five years of Commissioned Service in the Army / Navy / Air Force or rank equivalent to Assistant Commandant with minimum five years service as Assistant Commandant in Paramilitary Forces.
