RBI Non-CSG Notification 2020 - 2021

Reserve Bank of India had recently come out with a notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha, Protocol and Security), Manager (Technical - Civil), and Legal Officer (Grade B). The RBI Non-CSG notification 2020 - 2021 was announced for a total of 29 posts. The official notification was released on the official website. The selection is done on the basis of an online written test and interview. The online exam took place on April 10, 2021. RBI has now released another notice regarding the commencement of the Interview process. The Interviews for all the posts will commence from Sept 01, 2021.

RBI Non-CSG Exam Pattern 2020 - 2021

RBI Non-CSG exam was conducted for Legal Officers in Grade ‘B’, Manager (Technical - Civil), Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha), and Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security) posts. RBI Non-CSG Exam Pattern is different for each post. Selection in RBI Non-CSG exam 2020 - 2021 is done through:

  • Online and Offline Written Exams
  • Personal Interview.

RBI Non-CSG Exam Pattern 2021 (Legal Officer) (As per the Information Handout 2021)

RBI Legal Officer in Grade ‘B’ Exam Pattern 2020 - 2021 consists of Paper 1 and Paper 2 followed by an interview. In Paper 1, questions related to the law, are asked. Paper 1 will be objective type and bilingual in nature whereas, Paper 2 will be of English language and descriptive in nature. The final merit will be made on the basis of the combined scores of (Paper 1 and Paper 2) as well as the Interview. 

As per the RBI Non-CSG (Legal) Handout, a total of 2 papers are conducted in 2 shifts i.e. Morning Shift and Afternoon Shift. There will be a break between Paper 1 and Paper 2. RBI Non-CSG Exam Pattern 2021 (Technical-Civil) (As per the Information Handout 2021)

In RBI Manager (Technical – Civil) Exam 2020 - 2021, the scheme of selection is based on two written examinations (Offline and Online) followed by an interview. Paper 1 and Paper 2 were conducted on the same day. Please note that in Paper 1, there was a negative marking for every wrong answer marked. Paper 2 is assessed for only those who secure sufficiently high marks in Paper 1. Please look at the table below for complete details.

RBI Non-CSG exam pattern for the technical stream can be deduced from below. For Paper 2 (Descriptive), you have to attempt 2 out of 3 questions in Sections 1 and 2, whereas for Section 3, only 1 answer out of 2 is required to answer.  There is a penalty of 1/4th marks for every wrong answer marked. There will be a break between Paper 1 and Paper 2. Admit cards for both papers will be released separately.

RBI Non-CSG Calendar 2020 - 2021

Reserve Bank of India had released an official notification for RBI Non-CSG Posts 2020 - 2021 on February 23, 2021. The application window for RBI Non-CSG posts exam 2020 - 2021 closes on March 10, 2021, and online/written examination for the same was scheduled for April 10, 2021. RBI Non-CSG Salary 2020 - 2021

If you clear both stages of RBI Non CSG recruitment, you will draw a starting basic pay of Rs 35,150 / month. Besides this, you will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance and many more. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are Rs 83202 approximately. Also, you will be liable to reimbursement like maintenance of the vehicle, newspaper, telephone charges, book grant, allowance for furnishing of residence. You will be governed under the New Pension Scheme (NPS), in addition to the benefit of Gratuity. You will be on probation for two years which can be extended further to a maximum period of four years.

RBI Non-CSG Eligibility Criteria 2020 - 2021

Before applying to any exam, it's very important that you are aware of the complete eligibility criteria so that your candidature is not canceled at a later stage. There are certain eligibility criteria like educational qualification, age criteria, a nationality that you need to follow.

RBI Non-CSG Educational Criteria

As the RBI Non-CSG notification 2020 - 2021 is for various posts, so the educational qualification for each post varies. Legal Officer: If you are applying for RBI Non-CSG Legal Officer- Grade B post you need to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law with a minimum of 50% marks. Proficiency in computer applications will be an added advantage. Also an experience of at least two years as an Advocate/ Legal Consultant, Law Officer in the Legal Department of any institution /corporation / Government or full-time teacher in a Law College/ University. RBI Non-CSG Age Criteria

RBI invites applications from passionate candidates who want to make a career as a banker in India’s central bank- RBI. As the RBI Non-CSG recruitment is for different posts, so the age to be eligible for these posts varies. The minimum age to be eligible for RBI Non CSG recruitment is 21 years which goes up to a maximum of 40 years depending upon the post you are applying for. RBI Non CSG 2020 - 2021: How to Apply Online

The steps of filling in the application form are as follows.

  • Visit RBI’s Official Website and click on Apply Now link through RBI’s application portal
  • Register yourself on the application portal
  • Fill in your basic details such as Name, Age, and Contact Particulars such as Phone, Address and Email ID.
  • A Password and Registration Number will be generated by the system for you.
  • Log in again through this system generated registration number and password
  • The second step would be uploading the picture and the photograph as per dimensions mentioned below:
    • The size of the scanned photograph must lie between 20KB and 50KB.
    • For the Signature, the size must lie between 10KB and 50KB.
    • Left thumb impression is also needed to fill the application form. Size of the Scanned Left thumb impression must lie between 10KB and 20KB.
    • Size of hand written declaration must be in between 20KB and 50KB.
  • After Submitting the complete online application form, you will be directed to the payment gateway for further process.
  • No other application and payment medium is accepted except online mode.

RBI Non CSG 2020 - 2021 Application Fee

You will be directed to the application fees page after submitting the application form on the portal. You have to pay the requisite fee in order to be declared successful for writing the RBI exam. RBI Non-CSG Admit Card 2020 - 2021

Admit cards for the RBI Non-CSG exam 2021 have been released on the official website of the RBI. You can download the admit card by entering your registration number and password. The RBI Non-CSG exam admits card will contain all the important information like roll number, exam centre, examination shift time, and examination date. You need to bring a hard copy of the admit card along with the photocopy of any valid ID and its original at the exam centre failing which you will not be allowed to sit in the exam.
