BOB SO Exam Notification

BOB or Bank of Baroda is one of the largest public banks in India with its headquarters in Vadodara, Gujarat and corporate office in Mumbai. It was established in 1908 and provides services related to banking and finance. Bank of Baroda SO Recruitment is a good opportunity to work as Specialist Officer.The Specialist Officer will be appointed in the Middle Management Grade/Scale-II (MMG/S II) and Middle Management Grade/Scale-III (MMG/S III).

BOB SO Exam Pattern

Besides conducting online exam for PO, Bank of Baroda also give an opportunity to all eligible candidate to join India’s International Bank through its Post-graduation diploma in Banking and Finance Admission Programme. The BOB SO exam is conducted online in two stages-written online exam followed by interview/Group Discussion/Psychometric Test or any other test as decided by the bank for the different specialist posts.

BOB SO Phase 1 : Online Test

Phase 1 consist of an objective type online mode of examination. The BOB SO online exam consists of four sections namely- Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Professional Knowledge. Each section comprises of 50 questions.The composite time limit for BOB SO exam is 2 hours for 200 questions. Questions asked in BOB SO exam will be in bilingual language ie Hindi and English except for English Language section. For every wrong answer, 1/4th marks will be deducted as a penalty in BOB SO exam. Further details are given in the table:

Group Discussion/Interview/Psychometric Test

Those who qualify the BOB SO online written exam will be called for Personal Interview/Group Discussion/Psychometric Test as decided by the bank. A candidate needs to score minimum qualifying marks for final selection which is 60% for general and 55% for reserved category.Those who qualify in both stages of the BOB SO exam and are sufficiently high in the merit will be appointed as a BOB SO Officer. A candidate should have all the original documents and its photostat as asked by the bank to produce during the BOB SO interview.
