    Notification 2026

    The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Sub Inspectors (SI) in 2025. A total of 4,543 positions are available for candidates interested in serving as Sub Inspectors in the Uttar Pradesh Police.

    The online application process will begin on 12th August 2025 and continue until 11th September 2025. Applicants are advised to carefully read the official notification for detailed information about eligibility, application process, and other important aspects.

    The selection process will be based on a written exam, followed by physical efficiency and standard tests. Once the physical tests are completed, document verification and a medical test will be conducted. The final selection will be based on the performance of candidates in all these stages.

    Exam Pattern 2026

    The selection process of UP Police Recruitment comprises 3 phases

    UP Police online written exam will be an objective type exam. A total of 160 questions will be asked for 400 marks. The UP Police Exam Pattern comprises of General Hindi, Law/ Constitution and General Knowledge, Numerical & Mental Ability Test and Mental Aptitude Test/Intelligence Test/Test of Reasoning. Please note that there is no negative marking. The online written exam will be followed by a Physical Standard test and a Physical Efficiency Test.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Salary
