Notification 2025
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Sub Inspectors (SI) in 2025. A total of 4,543 positions are available for candidates interested in serving as Sub Inspectors in the Uttar Pradesh Police.

Exam Pattern 2025
The selection process of UP Police Recruitment comprises 3 phases
- Phase-1: Online Written Exam
- Phase-2: Documentation & Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Phase-3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
UP Police online written exam will be an objective type exam. A total of 160 questions will be asked for 400 marks. The UP Police Exam Pattern comprises of General Hindi, Law/ Constitution and General Knowledge, Numerical & Mental Ability Test and Mental Aptitude Test/Intelligence Test/Test of Reasoning. Please note that there is no negative marking. The online written exam will be followed by a Physical Standard test and a Physical Efficiency Test.

Eligibility Criteria
