    To ensure successful completion of the UP Police SI exam 2025 application process, it is essential to confirm your eligibility first. There are various parameters based on which a candidate is considered eligible for applying to any particular post.

    The official recruitment notification consists of the complete UP Police SI eligibility criteria which will decide if a candidate is eligible to apply for the post or not.

    Educational Qualification

    Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university or institution. This is the basic requirement for applying for the SI post. Those with equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions are also eligible.

    Age Limit

    Age Relaxation

    UP Police SI Physical Standard Test

    Candidates must meet the physical standards set by the recruitment board, which includes specific height, chest measurements, and physical fitness parameters. These requirements are different for male and female candidates.

    The physical fitness of candidates will be tested during the Physical Standard Test (PST) after the written examination.

    Up Police Si Eligibility Criteria FAQs

    Yes. The candidates who are already working in a Central/State Government job will be eligible to apply for UP Police SI recruitment. To do so, they will have to ask for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer and produce it as and when required.
    Yes. You will be eligible to apply for UP Police SI recruitment even if you do not have the domicile of UP.
    No. Any such male candidate who is not able to produce UP’s domicile certificate will not be eligible for relaxation under their category and will be treated as unreserved candidates. In this case, if such a candidate scores fewer marks than the cut-off marks for unreserved candidates, he will be disqualified from the further stages of UP Police SI recruitment.
    No, such female candidates will not be eligible for the UP Police SI relaxation under their category. If these female candidates are able to score equal or more marks than the cut-off marks for the unreserved category, they will be considered qualified for the next stages.
