APS Exam Pattern 2020
APS is a good chance for all aspirants who wanted to start their career in the Government Sector. The APS Exam will be conducted online and will be in the multiple choice question format which consists of the following sections- General Awareness, Mental Ability,English Comprehension , Educational Concepts and Methodology (Part A) and Questions specific to subject (Part B)for PGT/TGT . For PRT there is only Part A which consist of - General Awareness , Mental Ability ,English Comprehension, Educational Concepts and Methodology. PGT/TGT Aspirants who fail in Part B but pass in Part A can opt for PRT Post .
- For each wrong answer ¼ th marks will be deducted and the final scores will be normalized to 100.
- You must score minimum 50% marks in each section to qualify.
- You have choice to answer the question in whichever order you prefer irrespective of which part appears first.
- If you qualify the online test you can apply in the respectiveArmy School of your region or of another region as per the announcement of vacancies.
- For Language Teachers , along with evaluation of teaching skills a written test comprising of essay and comprehension of 15 marks will be held . A Computer Efficiency test can also be takenif decided by the section committee.
- TGT papers of Science and Social Science will have some questions pertaining to parallel subjects ie History Paper will have some questions related to geography and social science and so on.

APS Salary 2020
Since the APSis governed by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES)so the perks and benefits and other facilities will all be under their discretion but still it is lucrative and good. The entry level total salary for APSPGT is approximately Rs.36942 which may go higher in later stage. Similarly the entry level total salary for APS TGT is approximately Rs.36418 and for APS PRT it is approximately Rs 35370.

APS Exam 2020: How To Apply Online
A candidate needs to apply through proper channel in order to avoid rejection of the application form. The online process for the APS Exam 2020 is simple and you can follow the steps given below if you are unaware of the procedure. The detailed steps are as follows-
- Fill the personal information given in the application form.
- An online fees has to be paid through Debit card/ Credit Card /Net Banking
- After the payment you should attach the documents asked to upload in proper format.
- Documents required are Photograph and signature , date of birth proof , educational qualification certificates.
- After the registration is complete , a confirmation message will be sent to you in your respective phone number and email id .
- A help line number is provided in case you have any query and to make you familiar with the online test a link will be provided in the registration portal.

The Online Screening Test shall be conducted by an Agency hired for the purpose by AWES. They shall follow all protocols for conduct of such tests. These would involve social distancing and various safety protocols for entering the exam centre. Detailed instructions on Safety precautions and the protocol would be provided along with the Admit cards. You are expected to follow these for safety purpose.
APS Exam Admit Card 2020
Admit card for APS Exam will be available online. No hard copies will be sent to you. You will have to take out a print of the admit card and produce the same while appearing for the online exam. All the instruction provided in the admit card should be read thoroughly by you.

No, B.Ed is not applicable for PGT- Computer Science post.
Q3: I have done M Sc Micro Biology with B Ed. Can I apply for PGT(Biology)?
Yes. PG in Micro Biology or Molecular Biology or Agricultural Botany or Genetics will be treated at par with M Sc Botany/Zoology provided it is preceded by graduation in Botany/Zoology.
Q4: I’m M Sc Biotechnology, but I have no B Ed. Can I apply ?
No. B Ed is mandatory.
Q5: What is the qualification for PGT(Physical Education)? Is B Ed mandatory?
Masters degree in Physical Education from a recognized university. B Ed is not required.
Q6: I’m pursuing studies for B.Ed and will qualify before the next academic session. Can I apply?
No. You have to be qualified on the date of application.
Q7: Can Class X certificate/mark sheet be provided as proof of age?
Yes.
Q8: I have done Hindi Pandit Training from State dept. Am I eligible for the post of TGT ?
No. The qualification is Graduation from a recognized university.
Q9: Can physically challenged persons apply?
There is no such restriction.
Q10: Is there any relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates ?
Army Public Schools, being Private Unaided schools, give no relaxation to any category.
Q11: I have not passed CTET. Can I appear for CSB Exam ?
Yes. You can appear for CSB exam. However based on CBSE norms CTET/TET(of any state govt) has been made mandatory for Regular/ Contractual TGTs and PRTs. Others found fit in all other respects may be appointed on ‘Adhoc’ basis till attainment of qualification.
Q12: What is the salary structure?
The basic salary is as per 6th CPC rates. Allowances and perks will be decided by the management locally based on merit of the employee and financial health of the school.
Q13: Is experience in Govt schools mandatory or private school service will also be counted?
Service in Private school will be recognized, provided the school is affiliated to CBSE.
Q14: I’m qualified for all the three posts – PGT, TGT & PRT. Can I apply for all three?
The tests will be held concurrently. So you can’t appear in all three. If you qualify for a PGT Score Card, you can also take up appointment of TGT/PRT based on availability of vacancies.
Q15: If I pass the Screening Exam, will I be automatically called for interview ?
No. Schools will advertise for the interview and evaluation of teaching skills, in local dailies and school websites based on existing vacancies in the school. A 'Score Card' holder may apply to the school of his/her choice based on the advertisement.
