UBI SO Credit Manager Selection Process

The selection process might include an online test, group discussion (if held), reviewing applications, and/or personal interviews, depending on the number of applicants. The Bank can choose which methods to use for selecting candidates for the advertised positions.

Online Exam

For the UBI SO Credit Manager post, there's an Online Written Examination. It will include a section testing your professional knowledge with 100 multiple-choice questions, totaling 200 marks. The whole exam will last for 120 minutes.

UBI SO Marking Scheme

For wrongly marked answers in the online exam, there will be negative marking. One-fourth, or 25%, of the marks allotted to each question for which the candidate provided a wrong answer will be subtracted as a penalty to determine the final result. There won't be any negative marking for a question if it is left unanswered.

Group Discussion

The maximum marks for the Group Discussion will be 50, and candidates need to score at least 25 marks if they are from the General/EWS category and 22.5 marks if they belong to reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC. Only candidates who meet these minimum marks in the Group Discussion (if held) will be invited for the Personal Interview. Just taking part in the Group Discussion doesn't guarantee an interview call.

Personal Interview

A Personal Interview worth 50 marks will be held to evaluate various aspects like academic and job knowledge, communication skills, leadership qualities, and suitability for the post. General and EWS category applicants need to score at least 25 marks, while reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) applicants need 22.5 marks to qualify. Candidates failing to meet these marks will not proceed further. The interview will be conducted in a ratio of 1:3 to the number of vacancies, but the Bank may change this ratio if needed.
