PFRDA has opened four distinct streams this year. The General stream suits candidates from any discipline or specific professional backgrounds. The Research (Economics and Statistics) stream needs a background in economics, finance, or statistics. The Actuary stream needs actuarial exam qualifications from the Institute of Actuaries of India. The Official Language stream needs a strong command of Hindi and English.

A candidate can apply for a maximum of two streams. Each stream needs a separate online application and fee payment. Applying more than twice, or beyond two streams, cancels the extra applications. How Should Candidates Prepare for PFRDA Grade A 2026?

A focused study plan makes a big difference in this exam. Candidates should master reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and general awareness early. Daily PFRDA Grade A mock tests help you manage time better across all sections. A structured online course builds a strong foundation for first-time applicants

Reviewing PFRDA Grade A syllabus helps you track weak topics stream-wise. Solving previous year papers shows you the real difficulty level to expect. Research and Actuary candidates should revise their core subjects thoroughly every week. General stream candidates should focus on commerce, accountancy, and current pension sector updates. Official Language candidates should practice translation and legal terminology regularly.

Descriptive English in Phase II needs consistent essay and precis writing practice. Candidates should read editorials daily to build strong writing skills. General awareness questions often touch on the pension sector and financial reforms.

Following daily current affairs helps you handle this section with confidence. A calm, confident approach in the interview strengthens your final selection chances. Revising your qualification stream thoroughly gives you an edge over other candidates.

What General Conditions Should Candidates Keep in Mind?

PFRDA does not allow any changes to the application form after submission. Candidates should verify every detail carefully before final submission. Canvassing in any form leads to immediate disqualification from the process. PFRDA verifies biometric data and photographs during the Phase II exam.

Any mismatch in identity proof can stop a candidate from appearing. Candidates must carry a valid photo ID along with their call letter. Ration cards and learner’s licenses do not count as valid ID proof. Female candidates who changed their name after marriage should carry proof of this. A marriage certificate or gazette notification works well for this purpose. PFRDA’s decision on every stage of selection remains final and binding.

Final Thoughts
