SSC CGL

The minimum basic salary under CGL after the 7th Pay Commission is expected to be around Rs 18,000 and the maximum salary may go on to Rs 50,000. There are some recommendations that are still under process and remain to be accepted . The salary scale also varies according to the different posts.

SSC MTS

MTS is a combination of Group ‘C’ and group ‘D’ jobs and thus the candidates under MTS are entitled to receive a salary under the pay band- 1 (rs 5200-20200) + Grade Pay of Rs 1800. Therefore, the salary of an MTS may range somewhere between Rs 18,000 – Rs 22,000 (approx.) per month. The final salary may also vary depending on the post and job location.
