HSSC Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2021 Vacancy 

HSSC has released 465 vacancies for the Group C sub-Inspector post. Of these 465 posts, 400 are for male candidates and 65 for female candidates.

HSSC Sub-Inspector Exam Pattern 2021

The exam for HSSC Group C Sub-Inspector will be conducted in several phases. The actual assessment will be done over three phases but there are two additional phases for verification wherein candidates will also be given marks if they qualify certain requirements. 

  • Knowledge Test- (80 marks)

Candidates will have to appear for an objective-type, multiple-choice question test for 80 marks. There will be 100 questions for 0.80 marks each. The total duration for the exam will be 90 minutes. The exam can be attempted in either English or Hindi. 

  • Physical Screening Test (PST)

This test will be qualifying in nature. The standard of assessment has been prescribed below

7 candidates against every vacancy will be invited to the second stage of assessment. So, in all, 2800 candidates shall be invited for the Physical Screening Test. 

  • Physical Measurement Test(PMT)
    Candidates who qualify the Screening Test will be eligible for this Physical Measurement Test. Only those candidates who clear this round will be eligible for the successive rounds of the selection process. 
  • Additional qualification- (10 Marks)
  1. For Sub-Inspector: – Education (maximum 07 marks): Candidates who have a graduate degree in certain streams will be given 04 Marks. An additional 3 marks will be awarded to candidates who have post-graduate degrees in those streams.  
  2. Candidates who have a National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificate of A, B, or C level shall get 1, 2 or, 3 marks respectively. 
  • Miscellaneous (10 Marks) 

Candidates who meet some other requirements, such as being widowed, or belonging to particular tribes from Haryana will also be given denoted marks.
