NRA CET Graduate Level Exam Preparation

Let us now understand how to prepare for the NRA CET exam for each subject.

General Intelligence & Reasoning

As you already know, the General Intelligence & Reasoning section is assessed to test a candidate’s problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills. At any job, especially a competitive government job, it is very important that candidates possess problem solving skills so that they can carry out their work effectively. Therefore, if you want to do well in this section, you must do the following:

Quantitative Aptitude

This section is aimed at testing the basic mathematical aptitude of the candidates. At any government job, especially bank jobs, you will certainly need good mathematical skills to carry out your day-to-day work.

English Language

This section will test your knowledge of vocabulary and English grammar. It will be particularly helpful as all government documentations are done mostly in English. The questions will be fairly basic so even if you have a decent command over English, you should be able to pass this section.

General Awareness

Broadly speaking, the GA section can be divided into the current affairs and static G.K. For current affairs you must be in the know-how of the events being discussed in the news. Static G.K. will test your knowledge of important days, books, authors, basic history, geography, awards & honours and such.

Current Affairs includes the present and ongoing events of the past one year in different fields like politics, finance, banking, economy, sports, etc. If you want to stay ahead in the GA section, you must watch the news and read the newspaper daily. Please note, this is not a section that you can memorize a few days before the exam so its best if you keep up with the news as they occur.

It would be advisable to keep notes of the most important events for revision. You can also keep up with all the information in 1 place with ixamBee’s BeePedia capsules.

As for Static GK, the questions will be based on History, Geography, Civics, Elementary Science and such. Divide the subjects in your planner and cover all the topics properly. Moreover, you can take a free GA Quiz, at ixamBee completely for free!
