The NRA CET exam is set to be held all across the country in early 2022,as per the recently released Government’s announcement. This announcement was made by the Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh.

What is the NRA CET exam?

NRA stands for the recently approved National Recruitment Agency (Aug 19, 2020) which will be holding a ‘Common Eligibility Test’ (CET) which is expected to happen from early 2022. NRA CET will be a national level examination which will happen twice a year. This objective exam will be held twice a year and will replace the Preliminary stage for most of the government exams conducted by SSC, RRB & IBPS.

The NRA CET is a national level examination that will replace the Preliminary level of the selection process of most of the government exams such as SSC, IBPS & Railways. The purpose of a ‘Common Eligibility Test’ is to simplify the selection process and make it easy for the aspiring candidates as well as the conducting bodies. The various prelims examinations or initial stages will be replaced by this single exam which will be held twice a year and is expected to start from March 2022. The NRA CET official notification will be released on NRA’s website and the candidates will be able to check all the important information such as NRA CET online application, application fee, admit card, syllabus eligibility, important dates, and the selection process. The NRA CET vacancy 2022 will also be updated once the official CET exam information is out. 

Exam Pattern

Once the official notification is out, the next step will be to gather all the necessary information that will aid your preparation. Getting to know the complete NRA CET exam pattern should be the next step after application. The NRA CET exam is going to replace the Prelims examination for various SSC/IBPS/Railway exams, thus we can expect a similar paper pattern here too. The level of the exam will vary depending on the job being applied for. The NRA CET exam will be held separately for three different levels:

  • 10th
  • 12th
  • Graduate

As per the latest available information, the examination process of the NRA CET 2022 will be a single-level online objective test which will be similar to the SSC, Bank & RRB- Tier 1 exams. The questions can be expected from the usual sections that appear in most of the above-mentioned exams such as English Language, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness & Quantitative Aptitude.
