The Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited, better known as BRBNMPL, has opened applications for its 2025 recruitment. This is the RBI’s own currency printing arm, and it runs presses in Mysuru (Karnataka) and Salboni (West Bengal) with its head office in Bengaluru.
The posts on offer are for Deputy Manager in different specialisations and Process Assistant Grade-I (Trainee). The recruitment is open for both experienced professionals and diploma/ITI holders with industry experience.

The Process Assistant Grade-I (Trainee) group has 64 posts in various trades and technical areas. Reservation rules for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen follow the standard Government of India guidelines.
Who Can Apply
For Deputy Manager, a degree like B.Tech or B.E. in the relevant branch is a must, with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) and a couple of years’ industry experience. In General Administration, certain post-graduate management qualifications are accepted too.
For Process Assistants, a diploma in printing, mechanical, electrical, electronics, or chemical engineering will work, or an ITI/NTC/NAC in specific trades. Here, you’ll need one to two years’ work experience in production or maintenance, preferably in industries such as printing, paper, ink, or paint.
All certificates have to be from recognised institutions, and if your marks are in grades, you’ll need to give the equivalent percentage.
Age Bracket
Deputy Managers should be 31 or younger on the cut-off date, though BRBNMPL staff applying internally don’t have a limit. Process Assistants need to be between 18 and 28. Standard relaxations apply for reserved categories, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen.
Pay Scales and Extras
The salary packages are solid.
- Deputy Manager: Pay Level 10, starting basic ₹56,100 per month; with allowances, it’s around ₹88,600, making the yearly package roughly ₹19 lakh.
- Process Assistant: Training stipend of ₹24,000 a month for one year, then Pay Level 2 with ₹24,500 basic, total CTC around ₹12 lakh after training.
There’s also PF, gratuity, other allowances, and in some cases, company housing.
Selection Steps
Deputy Manager recruitment has two stages – an online written exam followed by an interview. The test covers reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general English, and general awareness.
Process Assistant recruitment starts with an online test too, with sections on reasoning, numerical ability, general science (Physics & Chemistry, Class 10 level) and general knowledge. Those who pass take a skill test. It’s qualifying only – you must get 50% or more to clear it.
Application Fee
Deputy Manager: ₹600 for most candidates, nothing for SC/ST/PwBD/women/Ex-Servicemen and internal applicants.
Process Assistant: ₹400, with the same exemptions. Payment is online only.
Filling the Form
The online form needs your personal details, education, and experience history. You’ll also upload a photo, signature, left thumb impression, and a short handwritten declaration in English. Double-check before final submit – changes aren’t allowed later. Always keep a print of the final form for your own records.
