SSC CPO 2019 

SSC or Staff Selection Commission was established on 4th November 1975 as Subordinate Service Commission and later changed to Staff Selection Commission  to recruit staff for various posts in the various Departments and Ministries of the Government Of India or State Government . It works under the aegis of the Government Of India.SSC has its headquarters in New Delhi and every year it releases  the notification for recruiting non-gazetted officers to various government jobs . Presently it is headed by Ashim Khurana.

SSC CPO 2019 Important Dates         

SSC has recently come out with the notification for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in CISF. It’s a golden opportunity for all those aspirants who always dream of making a career in the government sector. So a candidate should not wait for the last date to apply and should fill the application form as soon as possible since the link is active now. Submission for  online application has been started from 17/09/2019 and will remain active till 16/10/2019.The last date for payment of fees by online mode is 18/10/2019 but payment through challan can be done till 19/10/2019.The total number of vacancies is not intimated yet.

SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria 

A candidate should grab this opportunity and give his/her best to achieve success but at the same time, he/she must be aware of the eligibility criteria so that his/her candidature is not canceled at a later stage. The age limit prescribed by the SSC for CPO exam lies between 20-25 years but different age  relaxation is given for different posts based upon the categories as prescribed in the official notification of SSC CPO. Besides the age criteria, a candidate needs to possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.

SSC CPO Selection Procedure

To achieve success in the SSC CPO exam  a candidate must be aware of the exam pattern and its syllabus plus the selection procedure.A candidate has to qualify Paper 1 which will  be of objective type online mode and consist of English Comprehension,Quantitative Aptitude,General Knowledge and General Awareness,General Intelligence and Reasoning with a time limit of 2 hours.Those who qualify in the first stage will be called for Physical Standard Test(PST) , Physical Endurance Test(PET) which will be of  qualifying/elimination in nature. Only those candidates will be called for Paper II who successfully qualify the PST and PET.Paper II consists of English Language and Comprehension with 2 hours time limit. Paper I is scheduled to take place from 11/12/2019 to 13/12/2019 and for Paper II SSC will notify the candidate in due course.Those who made into the final list will be called for medical examination.After a successful medical examination, the candidate will be called for document verification.

SSC CPO 2019 Application Process

A candidate needs to know the proper method for  filling the SSC CPO online application form.This is an important part as any wrong information will lead to the cancellation of the candidate candidature.

1.A candidate needs to visit the official website of the SSC.No other mode is acceptable

2.He/she then click on the apply now link provided in the official website.

3.Click on the new registration and fill your mobile number,email id and date of birth.

4.A registration and password will be generated which a candidate has to use while filling the detailed online application form.

5.After filling the application form and clicking on submit a candidate will be redirected to payment portal if he/she wants to pay online.Offline fee payment can also be made

6.The candidate should pay the requisite fee.

After the complete procedure mentioned above a candidate should take out the print of the application form and e receipt of the application fees if paid online.

Application Fee For SSC CPO

All eligible candidates have to pay a fee of Rs100 through online mode or in cash at SBI branches by generating SBI Challan. Women candidates and candidates belonging to reserved categories ie SC/ST/ESM are exempted from paying the SSC CPO exam fee.

SSC CPO Preparation Strategy

1.Proper planning and strategy play a very important role in deciding one’s success in any exam.

  1. A candidate should be well versed of the exam pattern and syllabus.He/She should devise a study plan and work accordingly.

3.Each section should be practiced daily
