      Solution

      Let the eating capacity of each soldier be 'x' units So, total food at the camp = (60 X 30 X 4 X x) = '7200x' units And food remaining after 40 days = 7200x - (40 X 30 X 4 X x) = '2400x' units So, required time = 2400x ÷ (x X 3 X 20) = 40 days So, the food will last for a total of 40 + 40 = 80 days
