Efficiency of Arjun = (100 / 20) = 5 units/day
Efficiency of Karan = (100 / 50) = 2 units/day
Let Karan join after 'n' days.
So, 5n + (5 + 2) × (16 - n) = 100
⇒ 5n + 112 - 7n = 100
⇒ 2n = 12
⇒ n = 6
