ATQ,
Let the efficiency of Arjun and Karan be x units/day and y units/day respectively.
So,
0.25 × x × 6 = 0.5 × y × 3
⇒ x = (3/1) × y
Total work = 24 × x = 24x units
Time taken by Karan = Total work / y = (24x) / y = (24 × 3y) / y = 72 days
