SEBI Grade A Eligibility Criteria

To be able to apply for any examination, you should meet the specified eligibility criteria. Therefore, to ensure successful completion of the SEBI Grade A 2021 application process, you should be eligible in all respects. You need to follow certain criteria available on the official notification of the SEBI Grade A 2021 exam.

Educational Criteria

You need to comply with the SEBI Grade A educational criteria that are specified in the notification, or your application will be subjected to cancellation. To avoid any confusion, it is advised to check the educational requirements in the official notification. Details of the same are provided in the table below.

General Master’s Degree in any discipline, Bachelors’ Degree in Law, Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering from a recognized university, CA / CFA / CS / Cost Accountant.
Legal Bachelor’s Degree in Law
Information technology Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Electronics And Communication / Information Technology / Computer Science) OR Masters in Computers Application OR Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a post graduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in Computers / Information Technology.
Civil Engineering Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree in Electric Engineering
Research Master’s Degree in Statistics / Economics / Commerce / Business Administration (Finance) / Econometrics from a recognized University / Institute;
Official Language Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level or Master’s Degree in Sanskrit / English / Economics / Commerce with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor’s Degree level from a recognized University / Institute.

Age Criteria

For applying to the SEBI Grade A 2021 exam, you must not be older than 30 years. This age criterion pertains to the general category. You will have to visit the official notification and confirm all the age-related criteria before filling the online application form for SEBI Assistant Manager (Grade A).

Age Relaxation

SEBI Grade A also provides age relaxation to candidates belonging to the reserved categories. This age relaxation is different for different categories. A candidate claiming age relaxation has to produce all the certificates in support as and when asked by SEBI. Failing to produce the same will lead to your disqualification from the selection process.

Eligibility criteria for Persons with Physical Disabilities

Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are given some relaxation in age and fee. The specified disabilities mentioned below will be subject to relaxation in SEBI Grade A 2021 recruitment.

  • Blindness and Low Vision
  • Deaf and Hard of Hearing
  • Locomotor Disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy
  • Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability, and mental illness, v. Multiple disabilities
  • Other disabilities (as per Rights of Persons With Disabilities Act, 2016)
