RBI Grade B 2019 Exam Notification

RBI schedules direct recruitment (DR) drive for the post of Grade B Officers, every year which is awaited by all the aspirants, who want to start their career with a lucrative and promising job.

RBI Grade B Exam (DR) is conducted in three phases:

Phase 1: Preliminary Exam - An Objective test consisting of English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and General Awareness

Phase 2: Mains Exam - Two objective tests on Economic & Social Issues (ESI) and Finance & Management (FM) and a descriptive test of English Writing Skills

Phase 3: Personal Interview

RBI Grade B 2019 Admit Card

The 'centre, venue address, date and time' for both online Preliminary and online Mains Examinations and Interview shall be intimated in the respective 'Call Letter'. An eligible candidate should download his/her call letter from the authorised website by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier.

How to fill or Apply for RBI Grade B Exam Online Form: Step by Step Process

Procedure for Applying Online for RBI Grade B

  • Application for RBI Grade B Exam can be done by applying only ON-LINE through the Bank’s website www.rbi.org.in. No other mode for submission of application is available.
  • Candidates desirous of applying for posts in both Gr. B (DR)-General and Gr B (DR) DEPR / DSIM (as the case may be) are required to apply using links for both the positions separately and pay the fees for both.
  • Visit the URL “Recruitment for the post of “Officers in Gr.’B’ (DR) General/DEPR/DSIM” on Bank's website i.e. www.rbi.org.in > Opportunities@RBI >Current Vacancies > Vacancies and click on the hyperlink “Online Application Form” in the Advertisement page for filling the ‘Online Application’. It redirects the candidates to the online registration page.
  • Enter basic details and upload the photograph and signature in the online application form as per the specifications given.
  • Choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-Id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen and will also be shared through an Email & SMS.
  • Validate your details and save your application by clicking 'Validate your details' and 'Save & Next' button. No change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
  • Click on the 'Preview' tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
  • Click on 'FINAL SUBMIT' only after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded, and other details filled by you are correct.
  • Click on 'Payment' tab and proceed for payment.

Mode of Payment for Application Fee/Intimation Charges:

Candidates have to make the payment of requisite fee/intimation charges through the online mode only:

  • After submitting your payment information in the online application form and on successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated.
  • Non-generation of 'E-Receipt' indicates PAYMENT FAILURE. On failure of payment, candidates are advised to login again using their provisional registration number and password and repeat the process of payment.
  • Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online 'Application Form'. Please note that if the same cannot be generated, online transaction may not be successful.
