      Let the efficiency of a boy be 'B' units/day and the efficiency of a man be 'M' units/day we have, (2M + 4B) X 6 = (3M + 1B) X 5 Or, 12M + 24B = 15M + 5B Or, 19B = 3M So, B:M = 3:19 So, let B = '3a' and M = '19a' Total work = (2 X 19a + 4 X 3a) X 6 = '300a' units So, time taken by 10 boys together to complete the work = 300a ÷ (10 X 3a) = 10 days
