    A person can make 48 flower pots in an hour. Working for

    3 hours daily, he has total 660 flower pots that to be made in 4 days time. To accomplish this work he took the help of his brother and both of them started working together to complete the work. How many flower pots can be made by his brother in an hour?

    Flower pots  made by the person  in one hour = 48 Flower pots  made by him working 3 hours daily in one day = 48 × 3 = 144 Flower pots  made by him in 4 days = 144 × 4 = 576 Remaining flower pots  = 660 – 576 = 84 Now these 84 flower pots  will be made by his brother, in 4 days working 3 hours daily. Flower pots made by his brother in an hour = 84/(4×3) = 84/12 = 7
