      A Rs.2,800 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      B Rs.2,318 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      C Rs.3,200 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      D Rs.3,000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      ATQ;
      Let the total work = L.C.M of 12 and 6 = 12 units

      Then, efficiency of 'Pooja' alone = 12 ÷ 12 = 1 unit/day

      Combined efficiency of 'Manju' and 'Pooja' = 12 ÷ 6 = 2 units/day

      So, efficiency of 'Manju' alone = 2 - 1 = 1 unit/day

      Work done by 'Manju' alone in 4 days = 1 × 4 = 4 units

      So, payment received by 'Manju' = (4/12) × 8400 = Rs. 2,800
