    1 Man can do a work =6×12=72days 1woman Can do a work =8×18 =144days 1 child can do a work = 18×10=180days Now- (4men+12men+20children) can do a work in 2days = (4/72+12/144+20/180)2 = (1/18+1/12+1/9)2 = (9×2/36) =1/2 72 men can do a work in 1 day. The remaining ½ work can be done in a 1 day = 36men
