A 10 kg Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 15 kg Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 12 kg Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 21 kg Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      C.P. of the mixture = 280 × 100/112= 250 a kg. By Alligation rule:(Quantity of cheaper)/(Quantity of dearer)= (d - m)/(m - c) = (310 - 250)/(250-90) = 60/160 ∴ Required ratio = 3:8 Therefore, when cashew powder is 56 kg, groundnut powder should be = 56 × 3/8 = 21 kg.
