Speed of the train = 99 × (5/18) = 27.5 m/sec Length of the train = 27.5 × 13 = 357.5 metres Let the length of the platform be ‘x’ metres Therefore, 357.5 + x = 27.5 × 17 Or, x = 467.5 – 357.5 = 110 metres
