    Solution

    Let the length of the tunnel be ‘x’ meter. Speed = 54 × (5/18) m/sec = 15 m/sec Time = 1 minute = 60 seconds. Let the length of the tunnel be x metres. Then, (660 + x)/60 = 15 =>(660 + x) = 900 => x = 240 m
