Let the incomes of Vineet and Vidya be Rs. 12x and Rs. 5x respectively. According to the question, => 0.75 x 12x + 0.8 x 5x = 39000 => 9x + 4x = 39000 => x = 3000 Required difference = 12x – 5x = 7x = Rs.21000
